EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I picked up a good haul yesterday, $192 spent at WW, using a double points offer, plus my 1.5pt/$ AMEX, and 54L of fuel using a 10c voucher (so 5pts/L) also paid with using my 1.5pt AMEX. Plus I had Maccas for lunch using said AMEX, but that's OT!

did you have the spend $15 at Maccas for $5 refund offer from AMEX?

Mum - double bonus points this weekend
Dad - double bonus points this weekend
Brother - double bonus points this weekend
Me - double bonus points this weekend (already have a 200 bonus points for $50 spend offer this week)

No, but that would have even made the day better! $15 is a lot of Maccas for one person, so I'd probably have replaced some of my point haul smugness with a little self loathing!

Dad - we miss you offer of 300 bonus points for $50 spend
Brother - we miss you offer of 200 bonus points for $50 spend

I've taken to keeping the e-mails and flagging them, then deleting them once the points appear.

For the past three weeks running, my offers have been 250 points for $35, $30 and $35 (the most recent one combined with $10 Amex credit, FTW). Still haven't seen the bonus points for the first one, but I'll wait a bit longer.

EDIT: OK, so the 250 points for the $30 offer have since appeared in my EDR account this afternoon. I wonder if that means I'll need to chase the bonus points for the first $35 offer.

With still no sign of the bonus points for either of the $35+ spends, I just made enquiry via live chat. "Adrian" reckons that the points for the most recent one should appear tonight or tomorrow, but claims that I didn't activate the first one. Bull***! No amount of me telling him that their system is wrong would persuade him otherwise.

I won't be bothering with any future offers, and they've just lost a lot of my spending.

I chased up some points with live chat a few weeks ago and they also claimed that I hadn't activated the offer. I activate everything and I know I got the Thank you screen for the particular offer. Well done on getting your points.

Quiet here for a few weeks. Heading to coles again this week - double flybuys points on my shop this week.

edit: The EDR Gods must have heard my threat - 500pts/$75. I need to stock up on some meat so I think I'll use this one.

Mum - 500 bonus points for $100 spend
Dad - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Brother - 750 bonus points for $160 spend
Fiancée - 500 bonus points for $75 spend
Me - 500 bonus points for $120 spend

I am really confused how my dad and brother have 2 offers? A we miss you offer and a normal spend offer. If I spend $160 on my brothers account would I get 750 bonus points + 200 bonus points? The we miss you offers are valid until 22 June whereas the offers above are valid this weekend only.

You can combine two points offers in the one transaction. You need to be careful to use the correct card and make sure the final total is equal to the higher target and you have to make sure both offers are valid at the same time. I have combined We miss you offers and other targeted offers together and gotten the rewards for both offers.

I just don't get the 'activate' thing. Why can't they just make us the offer and then we either meet the spending hurdle or we don't? It just adds another point of failure to the system. If we need to activate, the least they can do is send us an email confirmation or have a webpage where we can see what offers we have activated. The current system is very sloppy and prone to generating unnecessary arguments with clients. No wonder Grant O'Brien is stepping down. The new CEO needs to fix this sort of nonsense.

I like the flybuys system that confirms the offer you have activated.

As JessicaTam mentioned, the Flybuys system is much better in this regard as you can clearing see which offer(s) you have activated.
