I finally got my "We miss you". 500 points for a $50 spend at Woolworths. Other family members got offers of 250 points for $50 and 500 points for $75.

I like the look of some of the half price specials starting on Wednesday so I will probably take up the 250 points offer for $50 on Wednesday and then the 500 points for $50 later in the week. By that stage my card might get another offer with a reasonable target enabling me to get two lots of bonus points for $50.

And just as a reminder ... since I live in NSW and have NRMA membership, 24hrs before we drop into Woolies (or BWS or Dans) we buy a giftcard via the NRMA online shop for the 5% off e-gift card. I appreciate there are better e-gift discounts from time to time, but this is a quick and dirty way for us. And personally I value 5% off hard cash better than the slight loss of QF points on the spend at Woolies (though we do manage to get 1.5 QF points for the e-card when we buy them with no surcharge - so see that as a good outcome).

I'm sure there are better / similar offers ... and 5% guaranteed off at Uncle Dans is always good + the 1.5 QF points to buy it on Amex.

You need to allow up to 1 day for the card to arrive via email. We find it arrives in a few hrs work days.

Mrs QF WP has done an online order tonight ($380), so let's see if we get the Amex $10 off offer piggybacking with the Week 3 offer.

Step Mum received a 5000 Bonus Points for her first Online Shop, minimum spend $50 and Free Delivery! Good offer, pity she'll never use it :(

I got the 5000 points for first online shop too. They don't seem to deliver, hopefully the offer applies for the pick up option too.

Mrs QF WP looks like she scored her bonus points from a previous offer:

You can get these types of bonus points for Click and Collect orders. All our online orders, including the introductory offers, have been click and collect and the bonus points were credited on time. Only certain stores participate in Click and Collect. I hope you find one convenient for you.

Can't you use it and ask her to transfer the points over?

I wonder when Woolies will finally roll out their recently touted new loyalty offer?
For surely better recognition of their relationship with The Qantas Frequent Flyer program must be on top of the agenda, including better points earning opportunities.
Flybys are leaps & bounds better at targeting their members with a huge array of bonus points offers presently.

My EDR offers have been quiet for a while, but just got double points for this weekend. A bit meh really.

Dad - Another we miss you offer of $10 off $30 spend

and

Mum - double bonus points this weekend
Fiancee - double bonus points this weekend
Me - double bonus points this weekend

Mum will love this one as she wanted to have a quiet week shopping buying only essential stuff. ;)

I've got a double points for $30 spend.

Mr Natalie has a we miss you offer of $10 off when spending $30.

Do the folks who have access to other family members accounts have any kids included? I have my own card which gets offers semi regularly however the kids cards never see anything. Both kids have all options ticked in their respective profiles however not once have they received an offer.

Sure I understand there would be no real reason for EDR to send offers to kids however just thought I'd check with the brains trust.

Two kids, two cards = nothing

The algorithm seems to work off the children's ages.

A few weeks before a relatively significant birthday one of our received the first of subsequently weekly emails.

I've tried playing around with card use to test out the algorithm and the age seems to be the determining factor. The youngest likes their point balance from the spending that went through testing out to see if there were any $spend thresholds or regular $spend thresholds.

Key determinant (not one offer EVER received for the youngest although old enough to shop alone) appears solely age related not card spend in any way shape or form UNTIL above an age trigger. Another 10 months before I can confirm that hypothesis (unless the algorithm changes).
