1000 for $200 spend

I was invited to one about 3 or so years ago. It was at a store that I popped into between the train and the car. Definitely not the store I spent most $ at.

It was in the staff room, hosted by a market research person, and the store manager and area manager also attended. Was focussed on the store- appearance, stock, staff etc. One other person and I mentioned EDR but it definitely wasn't a focus point of the session.

That's the one I got. My usual sydney woolies. Packed full of eastern suburbs ladies. 3 or 4 feeding off each other. One of them actually said something like "I want to feel like I'm in a market in Paris. I was raised in New York I'm just to lovely fresh food on display". Almost died when I heard that come out. They were more concerned with the layout of fruit and vege than with the freshness.

I got pretty annoyed when the suggested having a hot prepared meals section and the other ladies said it was a rubbish idea. I stay in a hotel normally being able to grab a cheap cook meal, not a hot chicken, was my ideally option. There was also a pick your toppings pizza idea, but couldn't find out if it was cooked or not due to the cries of no by the gaggle of double bay escapees.

2 we miss you offers 250 bonus points for $50 spend

Plus 3 accounts free 1kg bag of Friskies.

*This offer has been selected especially for you and can be redeemed once during the offer period (limit of one Friskies 1kg bag per Everyday Rewards card). Please activate your offer before you shop and scan your Everyday Rewards card at the in store checkout to qualify for your reward.

Two offers (out of four accounts)

Spend $75 for 500 points

A 'we miss you' spend $50 for a paltry 200 points.

Not exactly inspiring stuff!

Successfully completed spending $100 across three accounts for three weeks for $20 off each week.

No problem with changing stores on any week. Now have a modest collection of bus tickets (cheaper than OPAL if not using 5 days/week).

Boring offer this week for all accounts - more than double previous hurdle spend and 250 points the reward.

Nothing worthwhile from FlyBuys so running down stock this week apart from half price specials.

Coriander, I just participated in this offer and combined it with Pricepal for 5.5% cashback discount PLUS $50 discount if you spend $120 or more. Buying the above wines entitles you access to a "bonus" case of McWilliams Shiraz for $90 on which you also get 1,000 Qantas pts. Then if you buy any of the EOFY secret clearance wines you get another 1,000 pts and free shipping. I bought these and used the $50 voucher again! I then went back for a 3rd order of Grant Burge Filsell and received the free shipping which suggests if the site is kept open you can get not only the free shipping but maybe also the 1,000 pts. I again used the $50 voucher for further discount! The voucher came from the Pricepal drop down menu entitled "coupons". If you need the Pricepal referral for the $20 sign-on bonus, head over to the Pricepal referral thread and get one there.
No guarantees you'll get the $50 bonus coupons, but it is worth the try if you are buying anyway. ;) I was able to apply the discount over different Cellarmasters purchases and it is worth it for the multiple Qantas 1,000 bonus points.

Friskies look like they are really trying to promote their products at the moment, using the free sample technique. I'm guessing this promotion is a joint venture between Friskies and Woolworths. They appear to be doing a similar thing with Coles and Flybuys as there is a competition where you can win 1 of 2000 1kg bags of Friskies.

500 bonus points for $120 spend. I seem to go back and forth between an offer like this and a double points offer. Don't expect I will make it to the stops before it expires.

First offer in months, maybe even in 2015
Spend $50 for 250 points.

I guess I'll take it as next offer might be in 2016

I got the "spin the wheel" promotion this afternoon. $25 off $100 online spend. Have they not noticed that I have never activated an online offer, nor have I shopped online for that matter?

I got this too. Code was SPIN2. Used it in conjunction with the spend $75, receive 500 QFF.

Unfortunately, the website is AWFUL. Both Chrome and IE would not let me checkout. Calling was tedious - the basket decided to change, so had to read everything out to the operator. Definitely not an experience I would repeat, if I didn't have the two deals. No wonder Woolies is having financial problems - it's so difficult to give them money on their own website!

I got the spin offer for $25 off. I don't shop online
and am shopping less and less at Woolies, because of lack of offers.

I just don't get the 'activate' thing. Why can't they just make us the offer and then we either meet the spending hurdle or we don't? It just adds another point of failure to the system. If we need to activate, the least they can do is send us an email confirmation or have a webpage where we can see what offers we have activated. The current system is very sloppy and prone to generating unnecessary arguments with clients. No wonder Grant O'Brien is stepping down. The new CEO needs to fix this sort of nonsense.

Looks like I won't be getting the 250 bonus points for the second $35 spend either, since the bonus points for the following week's offer (boring old double points) have since appeared. ie; That's 500 missing points, since I started tracking them.

For anybody who's still going to bother with EDR offers (I'm not), I'd suggest that you keep the e-mails and a screenshot of the activation. Not keeping the latter was my downfall.

Their "system" also does a coughpy job of keeping track of the 4¢ per litre fuel discounts, but at least that one works in my favour. ;)

I've never had any issues with calling up to chase bonus points or petrol points that didn't post.
