EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I never scan if under $30 or even slightly over. That just lets them know you are a loyal shopper. Better to let them think I have have gone over to Coles or Aldi.
Why? It actually tells them nothing. They are not going to assume you've gone elsewhere and give you better offer next week. They won't play your game. You need to play their game and the game is all about spending.

Here's my advice and trust me it works as you can see from our weekly offers.

Always scan your card even for that $1.59 purchase. In fact I would recommend for some weeks forfeit normal points and scan 2-3 cards with smaller amounts.

Right now we have 3/5 accounts on maximum spend offers which is not good. My plan is to get them back down to realistic spend offers soon.

In my case (and everyone living around where I do), it might actually tell Woollies you have gone next door to buy something on sale. Everyone around here gets 4 catalogues in their letter boxes... IGA, Aldi, Coles, Woollies... all have their 'half-price' offers on the front page. Taking advantage of cheaper prices, even for just one or two items, is 20 second's walk.

This week's offer is 500 points for spending $75 or more. Will take up this offer as its time to top up my Opal card.

Mum - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Dad - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Brother - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Fiancee - 500 bonus points for $100 spend

All of these have crept up way too high considering dad had a we miss you offer a few weeks ago. The instructions for tomorrow is to spend $100 on fiancee's card and the rest on mums. I could ask mum to split the rest into the other 3 accounts but too much for her to remember.

I rarely shop at Woolworths but do so when I receive a decent points offer. Had a few recently. This week I get 250 bonus points if spend over $35 in one shop. Coles is pushing out the offers this week also.

I haven't seen anything that good in a long time.

When I read your entry I instantly thought that it had been about 4 to 5 months. However,

... noting the extreme inaccuracy earlier, I mean out by 40 metres...

I checked the history.

EDR - 1st notification of spend $x save $5 or $10 was between May 18 and 20 for offer which ran for 3 weeks and began 28 May and finished 17 June.

Seemed like it was so much longer ago.

This time around only a couple of the 5 family accounts have got the offer. :(

In ww yesterday and saw flyer for $50 ww giftcard if spend over $100 at ebay. You have to go on ebay.com.au/50back and ask for delivery to be click and xollect at ww store. Not all sellers offer click and collect though. Deadline is 3rd August.

Mrs QF WP got an offer today: 500 points for $250 spend. Whilst I wouldn't ordinarily register for an offer this bad, we were doing a shop today with delivery tomorrow, so we should score.

I got the same offer. Refusing to use it or even scan my card at all. Scanning JnrMrNatalies card instead so that he gets the base points and my offers become more realistic. Plus since he is little he doesn't get any offers so I dont need to worry about his offer limit. I'm going to put my card on ice till a We miss you offer comes along.

Also received the bonus shop offer - $30 for $100 spend. Will see if Mr Natalie got a better offer. Doubt I'll be able to use mine anyway, since I won't be around much and I'm refusing to use my card!
