The HDMI cable that is already connected looks about 1.8m so that must be the right one.

Am I that far behind the times that people are already throwing away the accessories to the items I've just purchased - well I have always said I'm not an early adopter :o

If you think it will have a good home here, then I'll PM you with details. I will owe you - smart to get in good with the Mods ;) AVC

Haha! Technology moves so fast these days it's hard for a tech-head like me to keep up sometimes!

Look! Technology is hijacking this thread! Maybe we need an "ask the tech-head" thread (we have ask the pilot). Then we could could also have an "ask the doctor" , "ask the xx_xx_". the list is endless.

Back on topic. Going to Woolies today for my weekly Cadbury entry, and seeing what Big W can offer in way of Valentine's Day gifts for the wife, using my targeted BW offer.

Nice no minimum spend..

Simply shop at any 2 Woolworths group stores including Woolworths supermarkets, BWS, BIG W or Dick Smith before 19 February and we'll give you 100 bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points - no minimum spend!

Collected the bonus points from both my offers today.

As I needed a new GPS, had done the research thanks to members here - made the DSE shop by 8 minutes and was the only one in it. Had both guys helping me find the only unit in the store (according to the computer) and gave me a discount that with purchasing an extended warranty, meant I paid $308 all up - so still can write it off in full this FY. Gave my Amex and EDR card (by mistake) - wasn't until the transaction had completed that I realised I had wanted to scan my sons' card. :( Oh well, no time to waste.

Big W was next in line, easily spent $49.94 in 2 minutes, as I knew what I wanted, had it up on my iPhone from their website and back to the checkout, pulled out my cards again - tick 100 bonus points.

Onto BWS where I picked up two cases of Coopers (1 Pale Ale for me, 1 Stout for my F-i-L). I hadn't taken note of the prices, so when she rang up $61, I thought that was for both - bargain :) and my cards came out. Went to put them in my trolley, but the girl then stopped me as she thought I hadn't wanted both cases - WTF????? So let's ring up the other one and bring out my daughters EDR card. Perhaps in hindsight I should have stuck with my EDR card as both amounts may have been added together and I'd have only lost the first $30 of the combined offer, rather then $30 on both. Oh well, trap for young players.

Out to Woolies, so I could partake of the Cadbury offer and add my sons' EDR card for some action. I'll score well at home with the chocolate on Valentines Day - particularly after Zumba.

$61?! Is that the price of a carton of beer in Australia these days? Ridiculous!

I have some serious catching up to do this week Mr....

Btw, coopers in China is pretty expensive these days, but well worth it and at least I know its chemical free unlike the offerings over there

Failed actually - had I spent another 6 cents I'd have got another 50 FF points.

Similarly love the taste and owed my F-i-L a case for doing some mowing for me during the week.

So only 400 bonus points this week and 351 EDR points (plus the 711 CC points). Nowhere as good as yours last week shintaro10x.

Still, kicking myself on the 6c. Any chewing gum at the front would have got me another 53 points.

that would be the Coles/Liquorland offer i presume

Woolies liquor, which we don't have in QLD, I do like getting fuel vouchers in the NT for my clearance spirits purchases, I found a very nice store up there!

Wouldnt be surprised to see perth cartons of standard beers well over 50. Prices are creeping up.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using AustFreqFly

Has anyone had any points for fuel transfer into their EDR account? Mine seems to have stopped since 16th January.
My voucher disappears out of the available vouchers as soon as I fill up, but then a few days later it comes back, and then expires once the expiry date is reached.

I've complained, and will wait to see what the outcome is.

I was having that problem using pay at the pump, worked with discount but QFF did what you said, now paying in store.

/checks EDR account..

My points for fuel seem to be transferring fine. Even a few days ago.

I never pay at the pump though (well I don't have the card anyway). I always go inside to pay, so I can AMEX it @ 1.5 points per buck instead of 1.

I used to like pay at the pump if I was fuelling the bike, but it only works for their own cards.

Still, I'm thinking of getting a WW card so I can get 1 point per $, where they don't take AMEX. NAB is only 2 points per $3 on the VISA. I have to do the maths so see if it's worth the $89 annual fee.

I have the WW EDR Mastercard and usually pay with that. Come to think of it, the only recent transaction for which I have earned points is the one I paid in store. I did a small top-up fill today of 10L and paid in store to see if those points post. Either way, I have evidence of heaps of 8cpl vouchers, and email receipts so I will pursue the missing points.

I have an update to this. First of all, I tried paying in store as per markis10's advice, and those points came through.
Then I called EDR Customer Service. They had no idea, but I insisted that it must be an ePump issue, so they put me through to Everyday Money (HSBC I guess). I said I wanted to talk to someone about ePump, and the guy I had been put through to obliged. He said he'd email the ePump technical team, and follow it up. He also manually added up all the points I should have earned - a couple of hundred.

Today, the points have been credited manually. I'll try one more small ePump fill up and see what happens, but the issue may be fixed now.

No problems with ePump points posting here... I have always use ePump and only once was not given QFF points, I believe this was due to the site being offline and although I did not get QFF points credited, I did get a fuel discount (however since fuel is a tax deduction for me, I prefer the points)

Was annoyed when this happened as I was expecting to use a $0.30/l discount voucher @ 15 QFF per litre...!

A sad day today.

1. Was checking my EDR account and found some bonus points had not been awarded. Lodged an enquiry and now have to wait.
2. Even worse, did a grocery shop for $175 at Woolies today. Forgot my EDR card. :(
