Yes I think a $29 fee will get you running on RACWA affiliate.....and then you can get into 5% off (excludes tobacco and liquor). Pay for the $475 gift card and your affiliate membership on your favourite Visa or MasterCard and you get $500 gift card each time you do it.

Well my bonus points from 2 weeks ago have finally posted (350+250), now waiting on 300 + 50 from last week. Transactions to back up the bonus points have posted.

No BWS offers here. No offers for me either...

MrsDeKa received
- up to 300 points for vitamins at WW
- 250 points for $30 at BigW plus 1000 bonus for a $398 42" AWA TV
- 18000 points for a targeted sign on offer to EDR MC.

The Woolies offer l am now getting are bordering on ridiculous ($ spend) compared to what other member get....

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

Oneworldplus2 - I too have only had that same offer (after no offers foe 2 months). The minimum spend is soo high. I did make the minimum spend with a shop of $182.53. But I had to stock up on bits & pieces.
And of course no offers again this week!

number 1 daughter .. 500 bonus for $30 minimum spend at BWS. she's never bought anything from BWS previously

I got the exact same offer too, which was the same as last week.
Mrs VC did get a 100 point offer as it's her birthday this week, no min spend.

I'd like one of those! I'd sign up straight away!

This is one of the best offers available, I have had this one a few times and it's a super easy 500 points...!

Four weeks in a row....then nothing this week :( At least last week's was an easy one.

Nothing for me, or Mr Sarvowinner; the Prodigal Daughter hasn't received any for months. :(
However the parents have done quite well over the the last two months.

Mrs.dr.ron has had a BigW bonus the last 2 weeks but instead of a $30 spend hers requires a $100 spend.

500 points if I shop at BWS, Woolies and BigW this week, no min spend.

Yep, same one for me, too.

And combined with the 150 points for spending $10 on pet stuff at Big W offer that also arrived, makes it an easy 650 points this week.

Maybe it's a reward for snubbing last week's 300-points-for-two-roast-chickens...

Did a Coles shop this morning.

First time that caught my eye - Lemons; WOW $4.98kg (yesterday), Coles, 98 cents kg today.
Coles Tuna was 90 cents a tin, no min buy.
Abbott's bread was $3 a loaf and l didn't have to buy 2 loaves to get a good price, unlike WOW where you usually have to purchase 2 loaves to get a good price.

So, if you don't get a WOW offer in your inbox, Coles does have some good variety and competitive prices to WOW.

From my shop this morning, it's evident that Coles is also spreading it's own brand (I don't shop at Coles much). Notice how the 'premium' shelf space is taken up by their own brand? Not surprising really...

(^Blue underlined items are Coles brand)

What is stopping me from jumping over to Coles (WES).
Coles still using 'Flybuys'
No Virgin tie-up (...yet?)
No lifetime status Virgin accrual (or is there? I might have missed this...)
No ASA with Virgin that earn Points/SC

So, for the foreseeable future, l will use QF and WOW.

No Virgin tie-up (...yet?)
GE Money have rebranded their Source Mastercard as Coles Mastercard and the gold card has been rebranded as platinum, and a friend who works at Coles has
told me that he has heard that a tie up with Virgin may be announced in the near future but unfortunately he didn't have any details of when or how.
Cheers

My shop is split between Coles and Woolworths, however, I do find that my circumstances, Coles is generally cheaper than Woolworths (although there are some exceptions - some deli items are cheaper at Woolworths)

Woolworths have done the same in some categories, although not so sure about soft drinks in particular. I don't recall any drinks uner the 'Select' label. I might have a look next time.

I have to confess to being more price driven than points driven, although for things at the same price, the points will sway me one way or the other.

I have heard that they are (or were) working on some sort of tie up with Virgin, but don't seem to have been able to come to a commercial agreement yet.

I only took the soft drinks photo because l was walking down that particular aisle and glanced in that direction and though, 'gee-wizz, that would make a good photo to put on AFF', lol. I'm sure that the other aisles would be the same....

And yes, l think that Coles is competitively priced, except for the sliced meat in the deli section. WOW generally seems to be cheaper, but you have to pick the right days (the meat at WOW rises/falls like the price of petrol).
