Did a Coles shop this morning.
First time that caught my eye - Lemons; WOW $4.98kg (yesterday), Coles, 98 cents kg today.
Coles Tuna was 90 cents a tin, no min buy.
Abbott's bread was $3 a loaf and l didn't have to buy 2 loaves to get a good price, unlike WOW where you usually have to purchase 2 loaves to get a good price.
So, if you don't get a WOW offer in your inbox, Coles does have some good variety and competitive prices to WOW.
From my shop this morning, it's evident that Coles is also spreading it's own brand (I don't shop at Coles much). Notice how the 'premium' shelf space is taken up by their own brand? Not surprising really...
(^Blue underlined items are Coles brand)
What is stopping me from jumping over to Coles (WES).
Coles still using 'Flybuys'
No Virgin tie-up (...yet?)
No lifetime status Virgin accrual (or is there? I might have missed this...)
No ASA with Virgin that
earn Points/SC
So, for the foreseeable future, l will use QF and WOW.
