EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Nothing for me this week.

I have truly lost the plot. I did get a good deal with BigW last week but forgot to activate it. And after forgetting my EDR card at Woolies the other week, I am being punished with no offers. :(

The only positive is the key chain mini card. Very handy EDR (and kudos where it is due) :)

Now this would solve my problems. I might ask if I can get some sent out as I never got them with my original card.

Just order a replacement card and you should get a new card with the keyring card attached.

No offers for me this week, although I have earned at least 2000 bonus points in the last month.

I joined EDR around Jun/Jul 2011 and my keyring card is all scratched up from tumbling around in my bag. Scratched up to the point that it won't scan. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also just got a good suggestion from somebody on the EDR FB site. She said to put some sticky tape or clear contact over the barcode to save it from being scratched and useless, as it won't scan properly.

Not compared to me. I forgot to get the BBQ chicken after my 3-card poker game (4 if you count the AMEX) at the self serve checkout.
Had to go back through. Lost some points on that, then left the damn bird at the register.

At least when I went back they replaced it at no cost.

Did that this morning before leaving the house. What a good idea… just make sure if you mis-align the tape you don’t peel it back to have a second go… as half the barcode will go with it :o

As my wife and I both have just the CC sized EDR card, I asked the question about whether we can get the keychain variety. Alas no, one must get a replacement card and wait 2 weeks (my sons' replacement card took 3) - so to use the new card, one has to print put the new bar code and use it in the interim. Is it worth all the fluffing around?

I did it like that. Was annoying to use the paper printout, but now I’m happily using both the new card and key tag card.

The ends justify the means.

Finally got an offer Big W spend 20-29 for 200 pts, 30-49 for 300 pts and $50+ for 500 pts on 'homewares' department.

Not sure I need any homewares, have to check with the extended family.

Got the same offer today...strange me getting offers on a Wednesday, never happened before for me from memory...

I'm just glad to get and offer seems to becoming rarer and rarer. The I store bonus purchases early in the year were the last extra pts I earned :(

Three offers for me, none for Mrs LW or mini #1 or 2.

A. Double points - receive 2 QFF points per $ spent over $30 in one transaction at Big W.
B. 1K bonus points when I buy an AWA 42" LCD TV from Big W
C. 250 bonus point when I spend $50 or more on my next order at Woolworths online

as I posted on the General EDR thread last night:
AAggghhhh  I'll bet they conspired to add it as soon as they saw her press "enter" ;)

Don't like my chances of using any of these this week. Perhaps it's time for me not to collect :o

I take it all back EDR, I'm in love with you again (see, it didn't take much).

For some reason the online shopping transaction my wife did on Sun PM has only posted effective Monday:

Looks like the 250 bonus points will be mine :D

No Wednesday offers, no monday offers, no weekend offers for me. This time last year I was getting targetted offers every week. At the moment I have more flybuys offers than I can use and no love from EDR.

I have seen some members on this forum asking for advice about aspects of EDR. I am happy to help when I can although I have seen other regular contributors here already providing great advice.

Had my first issue with EDR and bonus points not being credited for an offer which expired on the 19th of February.

Called the EDR helpline to enquire about it and telling them I have the receipt to prove it.

After a few questions and a little chat to the supervisor, she said my bonus points will be credited in 72 hours.

Overall the customer service was great and friendly. :p

Moral of the story, don't throw out your receipt(s) until your bonus is in. ;)

And the offers continue to roll in for our family this year.

- My brother has received a triple bonus points offer at Woolworths this week
- I received a spend $30 and receive 250 bonus points at Big W
- And I received something about winning a VIP package to the Royal Easter Show by entering a draw

P.S I have not been following my Everyday Rewards account recently but what is the chance of mum and dad shopping ~$219 for 2 weeks in a row?

They certainly do tailor offers based on your spent. Usually my spend $x get y points offers started with bonuses from $100 upward spend. One week, because of a number of additional purchases above our usual requirements, i hit $178 in one shop. Next week I find my bonus offer was spend $180 get y points. This week I dropped right back down to $60 and I didn't trigger my spend $180 offer. Here's hoping they realise I'm not a regular $180 per week shopper and that offers around the $100 mark are more tempting.

I'm thinking that is close - our shopping used to be high $ but that was before I participated in EDR (can you believe that was only November that I really took it up seriously).

Over the past 2 years, we switched from me doing the shopping to online delivery - that them took us out of the EDR offers as they aren't included.

When I realised this, I started using the offers (when I got them) but they have always been low $ value. So I'm not about to go and change their thinking. I'm happy getting the $30 Big W, double points over $30 from Woolies. What is surprising is that my spend with BWS have been larger amounts yet I am getting their minimum spend and "buy a slab get points" (I've had 300 & 400 points offers).

Well, time to check out to see if my offers have come in

Guess they noticed I just scan my EDR number ( now That was a learning curve for the local Woolies & BWS ) and use my WP Amex. Just got an offer for double QF points per dollar spend as well as the expected 1 per $ over $30, provided I use my QF Woolies M/C, and scan the EDR number.

AND, in addition to the above post, just got an offer for triple points over $30 spend when presenting EDR card.

So, I think this means if I spend $200, show my EDR card, & put it on my QF Woolies M/C I will get
400 + 3 x 170 = 910 QF points. Sounds ok to me.

I think they are trying to tell me something, all I get are booze offers
