Unlikely to be using it.

Nada again forr me and the prodigal daughter, same as Serfty for Mr Sarvo :( We are definitely in an EDR drought.

I got 4 offers this morning

- Spend any dollar value at any group-woolworths store for 100 points
- BWS spend $30 for 500 points
- Woolworths spend $150 for 300 points
- Big W spend $30 for 100 points

Spent $1500 at woolworths last week so have a feeling that may have kickstarted bonus offers again (been weeks since ive had any at all).

Received an offer double points over $30 until Sunday.

First one for a few weeks.

I feel that they are creating a sophisticted database on our spending, CC usage, products purchases regularly and purchase of "specials" to see how we are motivated by price and/or brands (and/or amount of bonus points offered). How far ahead have they already got the offers in place, now that would be interesting? Would the daily data received be crunched over the weekend in time for them to overlay their next weeks "base" offers, plus others that may be considered "trending" or "one-offs"; in time to then email the offers on Monday ~1am.

I think we'd all love to know the timing needed to trigger bonus offers that match our intended spending. I'd think that at the same time, EDR are thinking how they can influence us to continue to spend, or change our spending to EDR partners, or purchase particular items. Oh to know when to spend to maximise current bonus points offered as well as being able to influence future offers :D

Somewhere, back in one of the threads, there is a comment about how far ahead a promotion is decided on and how far ahead the selection of who gets them is. I'll see if I can find it - but it certainly doesn't occur on the Sunday night!

The fact that I was once able to take advantage of a We Miss You offer three weeks in a row gives some idea of the time lags!

Is there a link between the spending on the everyday rewards Mastercard and Woolworths offers?

The same as serfty, but higher thresholds

I think it was
$120/100pt
$180/200pts
$230/300pts

Of course Mrs VC goes and shops yesterday before the offers were activated. GAH!

The other two account's offers normally come in Monday night/Tuesday morning

This could be seen as breaking the rules...? Anyone actually done this and had the points actually show up...?

This could be the key.We dont have an EDRCC.Maybe this is why we get forgotten-it sure bears no relationship to our spending patterns. However they are motivating us-just not in the manner that they hoped. My last 3 quarterly points earn have been-1071,967 and the last-63 points. The majority of our spending is on mrsdrron's card she usually has 3-4000 points per quarter but the last was 450.
