EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I have never had an ERDCC and have earned close to 50K in points from EDR to date.

We get a lot of offers, but I am not really sure that having an QEDRCC has a great deal to do with bonus offers handed out.

here is a snapshot of 1.5 years of both EDR & QEDRCC (Remember this is one account and does not include all the other shintaro clan members)

I wouldn't be surprised if they do that. Look at certain store sales and who lives near those stores.

If they are really smart cross check the credit card with Coles/IGA spends to see if they are losing some of the faithful and get them back!

It has happened, a new BWS opened up and I got a special offer to shop there, and I do get offers for Woolies Liquor once in a while despite living in a state that has none, thanks to previous interstate shopping!

just did it, spent $858 at big w yesterday, points still are not showing I everyday rewards site, not expecting much but would be nice

I received two EDR offers today, one for me and a welcome offer for junior member 1.

Junior member, spend $30 or more at Woolworths for 100 points or 10cents fuel voucher

Me, spend $100 at Woolworths for 7 cent voucher, $125 for 9 cent voucher or $150 for 12 cent voucher.

I'll be using the junior member offer and might be able to take up the second offer depending on how good the specials are at Woolworths this week.

Quite a few, also spent $800 at 'first choice' on my EDRCC and one week later received a spend $30 at BWS for 500 points offer.... haven't seen anything from BWS for MONTHS.

This could be seen as breaking the rules...? Anyone actually done this and had the points actually show up...?

I haven't yet positively tracked a successful event but working on it. I have to develop better tracking with Mrs Albatross.

As for the question on rules, I'll put it in the draw with my Accor Platinum membership from our French link, my Hilton Gold status (thanks to my Russian issued Visa card!) and my Marriotts Silver thanks to some other leaked link. As always buyer beware.

Well I think BWS want me to cut down on beer; received an offer for 300pts for 1 carton of beer. This is the second one in two weeks. I notice that others get 300 for 2 cartons. It will be interesting to see if my offer goes up to 2 cartons to try to get me to buy more.

You have to activate before you spend to get bonus points.

Double points at Big W over $30 for next 2 weeks

Mrs LW received 50% off when you buy Uncle Tobys Traditional or Quick Oats 1kg box this week

No offers to mini #1 or #2.

Well I should be able to collect on all 3 offers this week.

All offers taken up.Not having had a food based offer before, didn't know what to expect. Mrs LW's card scanned at Woolies self serve checkout and 2 seconds later offer was applied to purchases. $10, so 15 CC points.

I spent $13 for essentials (lunch stuff) and therefore 25 CC points.

Off to BWS for Mrs LW's alcohol (Pimms No 1) so $45 later it's 15 EDR points and 67 CC points - and a happy wife

Then to BWS where I picked up some DVD/Blue Rays for the kids and softdrink slabs for the drinks fridge. $96 spent so 132 EDR points and 144 CC points.

Bonus 500 EDR points for shopping at all 3.

Nice total of 898 FFP's this week (647 EDR and 251 CC) which makes up for no offers last week. $164 spent.

Still well behind the leaders this quarter.

Figuring my best value offer this week is the 500 points at 3 outlets I’ve made a $9 purchase at Big W online, with free shipping for a CCR album, a $28 purchase at BWS to restock a few bottles I’ve had over the past week and shall do my regular WW shopping later this week to round out the deal.

I’m not an EDRCC member and have made ~30,000 points since the scheme started.

Interestingly, having just looked at my account I see a fuel stop last week noted twice. I remember the cashier swiping my card multiple times for no reason, as I ended up paying the same, but now I’m seeing double the amount of points. Will see if it transfers as normal at the end of the week.

1. Big W - 1 packet of 8 chuppa Chups Lollypops $2.30 (for the kids)
2. BWS - 1 can of beer $3.60 (My Morning tea )
3. Woolworths Supermarket - 1 packet Smiths Chips $1.54 (To go with the beer )

Total spend $7.44

Total QFF earn 500 points

Cost per point 1.4c per point

I have a lot of beer in my cellar already! About 2 cases worth.

With Autumn having finally arrived and temperatures dropping a little, I feel red is what I’ll be drinking more frequently going forward anyway. That and cider, but I don’t have the cash for cider prices at this stage!
