Surely you overspent in Big W and WW shintaro10x :o - that could have really affected your price per point ;)

Did the Big W / BWS & Woolworths Supermarket spend for the 500 QFF this morning: -
  1. Big W - 1 packet of 8 chuppa Chups Lollypops $2.30 (for the kids)
  2. BWS - 1 can of beer $3.60 (My Morning tea :p)
  3. Woolworths Supermarket - 1 packet Smiths Chips $1.54 (To go with the beer )

Total spend $7.44

Total QFF earn 500 points

Cost per point 1.4c per point :lol::lol:

Well done markis10 on RACQ as that is the easier card.
i didn't delve because QLD won the cricket and WA got dust!

Figuring my best value offer this week is the 500 points at 3 outlets I’ve made a $9 purchase at Big W online, with free shipping for a CCR album, a $28 purchase at BWS to restock a few bottles I’ve had over the past week and shall do my regular WW shopping later this week to round out the deal.

Surely a $9 CCR album is the deal of the week!

LW, you are correct, however I am still ~70 odd points better off than you because I used my QEDRCC with the 2x CC earn for the recent cellarmasters promotion, hence I am not too fussed with a little over spend in Big W / Woolworths Supermarket...

If I had bought only 1 chuppa chup, then what would Mrs Shintaro & the other clan members have to say about this...

BTW, I value QFF points at a value greater than 2 cents each, so I'm happy with the earn plus the wife & kids will be quiet with their lollypops while I sit back with my beer and chips in the peace & quiet :-P

Yes I was kidding about the cricket.....
But I did send this post 1524 to our Queensland office as saving money is a great game to play.
So you buy the gift card on your EDR credit card for the points,flash/scan the bar code off the back of the credit card and pay using the gift card....it is the triple dip game for saving cash and earning points and bonus points from Woolies offers.

Just a FYI - RACQ members can buy wish giftcards online with a 5% saving and free shipping, should be a little bit more flexible than the RAC WA offer:https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/CardsCatalogue/Index?canHaveSubCategory=false&canBuy=TrueView attachment 6591
only really a 2.25% discount for this value card with the registered post delivery included...

however a $500 value card for $475 + $5.50 delivery will result in a slightly better discount of ~3.9%

Multiple $500 value cards is a greater discount but watch out for the higher delivery on 2 or more cards...4 x $500 = $2,000 Less 5% Plus $14.99 (~4.25% Discount)20 x $500 = $10,000 Less 5% Plus $14.99 delivery (~4.85% Discount)

FF points on top help I guess, but you would get most of these anyway if you just used your CC in the shop...

Edit:Much better to have a friend with a spare staff card :-D

Did you miss the free delivery bit??

must have, was just looking at your example plus the Q&A on the site...

Edit: I gather from your post that RACQ members also get free delivery...?

No idea, might be ongoing, I just got my RAC WA ones today so it will be a little while before I top up! Mind you, they are usable at masters and dans etc.

Hmmm, I'd better get in on these as well, now that I understand the benefits.

So many FF points, so little time

It is fun saving money. I did meet a lady who has been doing RACWA 5% off gift cards for the past 3 years.
I put her into my "must keep talking to her " category as our work staff should be able to get an average annual saving of $1,000 tax free a year. Every bit counts and we want our staff to pay off their house mortgages as fast as they can.

another quick and easy points earn... and to think just 3 years ago I was mostly flying whY
