EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Okay, spreadsheet done for me and will update the other tabs for kids and wife at work (not many transaction). I only put in the promos that I activate and fulfill. Nice to see the matching dates for promo and when the bonus points are given, most are 12 to 14 days. Only missing one transaction (DSE) which I called up about yesterday - second time hopefully it will work. They have sent off the information to their IT department and said it should be there in a week.

I did get a birthday reward of 100 points last week and did do a shop of $98. I don't count the birthday points as an offer because everyone gets that one.
I also did a $45 spend at BWS in hope of triggering some action there as well. Its not our local, but went out of my way for that one, Dan Murphys is at our local Woolies.
I think I will be making "the call!"

I got the birthday one yesterday too. Also received the Easter card e-mail.

weird, no EDR offer this week but just received an offer direct from QFF for...

Pick up your long weekend supplies at BWS and get double Qantas Frequent Flyer points* for every dollar spent over $30.

I got that too :D

I wish I got that, dads here this week and we shall be stopping at BWS!

Hmmm, interesting now that I have got two BWS offers:

Only 2 offers this week :( and both mine:

Tiered BWS offer (50 pts for $30 to $49; 100 pts for $49 to $99 then 200 pts for $99+
and
me - 300 bonus points for any 2 cases of beer (received at 7.30am)
As I have registered for both, will the first one only work or will only the second one work if I buy 2 cases of beer, or do I have a piggyback duo?

BWS certainly going to do well out of us this week with Miss LW also getting:

mini #1 - 500 bonus points for $30 or more at BWS

Wonder if I got the QFF offer as well :o - I know that my kids and wife didn't as I've checked their email. Can't check mine (work email) until tomorrow :( but don't see it being as lucrative as a flat 300 or 500 points.

I recently had 2 for Big W - one for an over $30 spend and another for specifically buying nappies. I received both points on the one purchase. I am sure they will both work if you buy 2 cases of beer for over $99.

Maybe I should always go shopping for offers in the second half of the week to potentially maximise bonus points.

That's comforting rallygirl, thanks. One of them is usually around $65 (Coopers Stout - all his, can't stomach the stuff :p), so shouldn't be any trouble with getting $99 for 2

The discussion on liquor pricing and the points giving places being dearer does not always hold true, noticed last night that Woolies Liquor has JW Gold for $79, dont believe its on offer at BWS but thats $30 cheaper than Dans!

Dan's will usually match a lower price based on the following: - http://danmurphys.com.au/help/price-guarantee-content

I assume the JWG was a clearance price to move out old stock...?

99.9% of the time Dan's is the cheapest, BWS & WOW Liquor only really get close with their "special" or "sale" prices

No, its a special as opposed to a clearance, while Dans will match prices, its not always automatically done, its amazing how the Dans near get wines direct seem to have no stock of the specials at GWD each week ;) :

I note online at Dans they are now offering $69 for it!

it worked Lindsay, points credited yesterday ;). Given a WP on the double SC promo can earn 1120 SCs for a net cost of 55348 QFF points, every point helps ;).

Only 2 offers this week :( and both mine:

Tiered BWS offer (50 pts for $30 to $49; 100 pts for $49 to $99; 200 pts for $99+)
Tiered WOW offer (150 pts for $200 to $229; 200 pts for $230 to $249; 300 pts for $250)

Totally underwhelming so looks like a low bonus point take up this week :o

Scurries off to see if there are more emails.... YES!!!!! :D

mini #1 - 500 bonus points for $30 or more at BWS (received at 7am)
me - 300 bonus points for any 2 cases of beer (received at 7.30am)

Looks like she is buying her Mum Pimms for Easter and I'm getting my F-i-L some more beer for mowing the lawn last week ;)

Whoops, mistyped one of my offers - it was a tiered Big W offer not BWS - lucky I checked twice this morning before I went shopping. Have taken to copying and pasting into iPhone notes to make sure I am following the rules.

So Big W first - loaded up on $56 worth of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. 2 x 48 pieces for $18.94 each [Easter weekend with the family & in-laws], 1 x 30 piece for $9.97 and 1 x 16 piece at $8.24 [for my staff] - far eclipsing the WOW offer in the weekly specials email. 100 bonus points for spend > $50, 84 Amex points and 26 standard EDR points.

BWS - as stated above, my daughter bought her mum a bottle of Pimms ($45) ans I bought 2 cartons of Hahn Prem Light ($56) for Easter drinking with friends and family. 500 bonus points for daughter and 300 for me, 151 Amex points and 26 EDR points for me and 15 for my daughter.

Totals:
Me - EDR points 452 for $112 spend (24.77c/point) + 235 Amex points
Daughter - EDR points 500 for $45 spend (9c/point)
Grand total: EDR points 952 for $157 spent (16.5c/point) + 235 Amex points.

I know I could have maximised if further, but I'd rather sometimes buy things that I'll use when spending the higher amounts (unlike the Select offer last week).

Which reminds me, my spreadsheet is up and running for those that might want to use it - I understand it but others may want to play with it to suit their own situation. Email me and I can send an edited version (taking out my details). One tab for each person - as I only started really paying attention to EDR in November, it's still relatively short. Imgine shintaro10x's for each member of the family :o

Also noted that EDR haven't credited a couple of the promos from 2 weeks ago as well as alerting me that I had scanned my sons EDR card by mistake on a transaction for my daughters "100 pts for any two stores, no min spend" offer...so she missed out. Now there is no chance I'll make that mistake again - at least it was a low offer, not a 500 pointer :o

markis10, are you meaning the piggybacked EDR offers for BWS; or combining the EDR offer and QF offer (which I can't find my email - did it need registration?)

You have a bulging inbox shintaro10x :D - now your challenge (not much of one really) is to make it really work.

Neither myself or mrsdrron has had any birthday points from EDR.
