EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Lindsay. it may not be worth the effort and who knows, if you ignore this one the next one or more likely, the one after will be more enticing.

My thoughts exactly. No chance to go shopping instore this week or over Easter.they must have finally looked at our online spend and trying to convert us back ... No chance!

Upon reflection, given they gave me 1,150 bonus points last week, my good run of offers had to finish. This averages things out.

ellen, I'd be either triggering the bonus offers by swiping the card on a low spend OR ringing up EDR and express your frustration and yell (tell?) them you're shopping at Coles...

I had very poor to no offers leading into March. Then flew to the UK for a 3 week holiday, and the second week bought two great offers which i couldn't use for obvious reasons.

On my return I received the spend $230 receive XX points. Nothing this week for me, but Mrs Reggie got the chicken one listed above oneworldplus2

I haven't had any offers for 3 weeks but today I got the roast chicken offer, might pick up a couple on Thursday and invite friends over for Good Friday lunch of chicken with salad and a glass of wine.

I usually buy 1 or 2 chickens a week at WOW, so this is a uselful offer.
What I have noticed at WOW, is that the chickens are cooked in big batches, maybe 2 or 3 times a day and they sit under the heat laps (hot box) for too long. They end up falling apart, literally. When I do purchase a chicken, it around 5-6pm, after work/college.

I did get a birthday reward of 100 points last week and did do a shop of $98. I don't count the birthday points as an offer because everyone gets that one.
I also did a $45 spend at BWS in hope of triggering some action there as well. Its not our local, but went out of my way for that one, Dan Murphys is at our local Woolies.
I think I will be making "the call!"

Stop the presses; Just had this belated rewards offer come through;

Only 2 offers this week :( and both mine:

Tiered BWS offer (50 pts for $30 to $49; 100 pts for $49 to $99; 200 pts for $99+)
Tiered WOW offer (150 pts for $200 to $229; 200 pts for $230 to $249; 300 pts for $250)

Totally underwhelming so looks like a low bonus point take up this week :o

LW, I agree that this week is totally underwhelming, and since the shintaro clan usually get around 5-6 offers every week, this weeks two offers is more than disappointing...

Shintaro10x - 300 bonus points When you buy any case of beer at BWS this week
Mrs Shintaro - 100 bonus points When you spend $5 or more in our bakery department this week

No offers for Junior Clan Members #1, #2 & #3

EDIT: Perhaps the light offerings of bonus offers has something to do with the spend $150 for 20 cents per litre offer currently running until Easter...?

At least you'll get 400 bonus points :) - that'll help you keep your trophy for this quarter ;)

Very likely hypothesis shintaro10x. Alas, not all of us need that offer :(. I've got enough BP gift cards for my next 3 months

I also just received a 2x offer for Big W, seems that the offers coming through these days are spaced out, in the past all offers came in at the same time (between 12am & 1 am) but this week the offers are coming in much later

Time to stock up on some toothpaste and shampoo.

Bonus points for $10+ in health and beauty.
$10-14 50 points
$14-19 100 points
$20+ 200 points

that's a very easy 200 right there.

PLUS a double points for Big W. But I think BW bonus offers are better, so I won't take that one up.

For some reason the other 2 accounts' offers always come in on Wednesday

I only need to spend $5 (or more) in the bakery this week to earn 100 bonus points. Once only unfortunately.

SWMBOs offer is 50 bonus points for buying 1 cooked chicken or 150 points for buying 2 or more.

Scurries off to see if there are more emails.... YES!!!!! :D

mini #1 - 500 bonus points for $30 or more at BWS (received at 7am)
me - 300 bonus points for any 2 cases of beer (received at 7.30am)

Looks like she is buying her Mum Pimms for Easter and I'm getting my F-i-L some more beer for mowing the lawn last week ;)

Easy 300 points for you straitman, you've taken care of dinner tonight and how many times can you change a sandwich filling this week :D

I got 100 points for $10 in the bakery. Can be over multiple purchases.

Sent from the Throne

All they’ve sent me (so far) this week is a Big W offer where the more I spend the more points I get, and I’m not that keen. 26967

Just got my usual 300 bonus points for $30 at BWS

I have been buying a bottle of DUPERREY Champagne ($44) each time. In the last 4 weeks I have earned 900 bonus points for 3 bottles of champagne. Nice timing with friends coming for Easter.

$38.80 per bottle @ Daniel Murphy's if there is a store close to you... ~12% cheaper than BWS

Based on the cost difference between Dan's and BWS, and the QFF bonus earn + standard earn rate, your 314 QFF points come at a cost of $5.20 or $0.0166 per point.

Major, I am only making an example of your post so others can see how to calculate the "true cost" for these points we are all getting, in your case you need to "value" your points at a rate greater than 1.66 cents per point otherwise there is little value in the EDR offer.

Totally a different calculation though if there is no Dan Murphy's close to where you live.

Once I've got my spreadsheet finished, I'll be calculating my averages from week to week and overall - hoping to see lowering numbers.
