Any 'qualifications' needed as such?
There will be an official Position Description available in the new year.
In terms of "formal" qualifications, I am not that concerned. My current PA worked at a hotel and he looked after a lot of arrangements for me when I was staying there as a guest. I poached him to work for me.
The ability to handle ALL my travel arrangements promptly is paramount. I also have a lifestyle which means the majority of my travel is last minute. An example, I AM going to London this year.... Still have not booked flights or accommodation.
At the moment, all I do is text Matthias when I want to go and everything is emailed to me. That is the type of thing I wish to be able to continue to do with my new PA.
There are some good perks aside from the obvious travel. Mobile, Laptop, Home and Mobile Internet is 100% paid for. All Travel expenses including meals, drinks etc. You get to keep 100% of any loyalty program points to use as you see fit.
The ability to work autonomously is also important. You need to be able to schedule my diary and handle 90% of my telephone calls and correspondence. The ability to liaise with people of all levels will be required.
A drivers licence is important, as there will be times it will be required.
Not that it's a big deal......... But you will also have CL access and a very shiny Coutts and Co, World card!!
