Great! I'll make sure I maximise every minute of those three hours

Now just trying to decide whether to put in an upgrade bid for my flight home... I'm sure the A380 business class is superb but the apartment option is very tempting...

Sounds like a plan... however if I was to receive a magical op-up that would solve my dilemma...?

Unfortunately, we can't provide up grades through Social Media. However, there's no harm in asking when you get to the desk. Have you joined our Etihad Guest Program where you can receive miles as you travel and use these for up grades? *Pennie

I'm not an Etihad Guest Member, will be crediting the points to Velocity (currently Gold but the first flight will tip me over to Platinum).

I went through this lounge on Tuesday, great experience.
The staff were very well drilled, fast service with a smile, tasty food and even tastier scotch .

They had a good mix, laphroaig, all the JW's including Blue which I sampled .

Was fortunate enough to receive an op-up from AUH - MUC from J -> F. Even though it was on the A330 not the A380 it was a fantastic experience, extremely lucky. Loving everything Etihad so far, everything has been sensational.

Unfortunately no - only had the boarding pass beep as I was going to board.

Happy days ! I got the upgrade from AUH to MEL from J to F and got the lounge as well ! A few yers back but still fondly remembered !
