Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

I have been offered my choice of a tin of spaghetti, or a tin of baked beans. It would seem that shifting the majority of my spend to my wife's account and the rest to Harris Farm has upset someone :D

Cheers,
Matt.
I got the same offer!

500ml Squeeze Fountain offer - different from February's glass bottle fountain offer.

Same here. Not sure why though given I've never bought them or anything like it

Some pretty disappointing changes (enhancements) to the program are on the way as of 1 July 2023:
  • The price of annual subscriptions will be increasing from $59 to $70 per year (monthly will be staying the same at $7 per month)
  • Rewards will drop from 3x points to 2x points with every shop
  • The 10% discount for Woolworths and Big W will no longer be able to be used online - in-store only
They're obviously expecting some negative responses to the changes, so they have also announced:
  • Anyone who subscribed prior to 29 May 2023 will get free access - 3 months if you're an annual subscriber, 1 month if you pay month-by-month. Your first billing date after 1 July will be pushed back to reflect your free access period
  • Annual subscribers also have the option to cancel their subscription immediately and receive a refund for the remaining balance (available until 31 July 2023)
As someone who does 90% of their shopping online, this is a massive devaluation and I'll definitely be cancelling.

It is very strange that they are also opting out from the online part, even BIGW so something must have gone on, generally it’s all about online these days so that is a bit bizarre.

I have done a few online orders this month and the 10% promo code has been used multiple times without issue, that is clearly a IT bug. Perhaps they are having some problems trying to link the data.

Wow, that's a Qantas-style devaluation if ever I saw one. The triple wammy of:
  1. Annual fee increase;
  2. Reduction in bonus points; and
  3. Removing the online discount.
I'll need to run the numbers too, but it still be worth it for us.
