Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

I'm not thrilled with that change as I prefer to shop online and collect. Much easier with two little kids who think trolley time is a great opportunity to beat each other up.
It's like shrinkflation except the price is going up while the product is getting smaller....

I'm in the same boat - prefer shopping online as a result of shiftwork that I'd prefer not to use my limited time inbetween shifts at the supermarket.

As a side note, Woolies Mobile appears to have had the same treatment today as well. 10% off can only be redeemed instore too from July

and if the kids aren't bashing each other, they are running around the store and getting themselves hurt (and then blaming the store staff for it).
They see the TVs around the store that are hocked up to some of the CCTV cameras and think it is a game to dance around watching the screen, while getting in the way of everything happening around them. >_<

I wonder if this change is going to have an impact on the online customers and force some of them back into stores. The company already lets the online pickers do anything they want (often to the depriment of customers and other staff) as long as they meet their target "optimal order" %.

A 4% increase in revenues at WW seems pretty soft, given that inflation has been above 7% for some time. Maybe they’ve decided that while online is great…it is forcing them to miss out on too much of the impulse buying that in store shopping creates. I know I’ve rarely come home with only what I intended to buy when shopping in store… whereas I only increase an online shop (elsewhere - as I don’t shop online for groceries) when it’s to meet a minimum order or free shipping type of requirement.

Cheers,
Matt.

Woolies Insurance has been changed in the same way too.

Perhaps its just too easy for customers to bulk buy with a discount with online shopping. E.g. spend $300 one week online and $100 for the other 3 weeks of the month.
I am disappointed with the downgrade as I was hoping Coles (who I prefer) would improve what they offered.

That was useful...

The team message from Brad yesterday said that more info about the changes would be in the CSM weekly planner today.
I look at the planner and it just has the same info that was given out yesterday in a different format.

and a different comm saying that people with staff cards keep the 3x points (1x team + 2x everyday extra) for FY24 H1 (inc online).

$59 for upwards of $400 off groceries across a year without having to go near a shop, with a serve of bonus points thrown in, was probably in the 'too good to be sustainable' category.

I do all our shopping online (kids and supermarkets right?) and only hit a store when something we ordered doesn't arrive or we stuff up and run out of milk 🤣

So with the online option gone, so is Everyday Extra. Was good while it lasted 🤷‍♂️

I mostly shop online (have no car) and it's easier to keep to a budget. I'll use my June discount, then cancel. And I have a delivery unlimited sub as well but I will keep that, as the minimum order amount won't effect me.

I'm in the same boat. Will cancel once my subscription is up.

We do all our grocery shopping online once a month except for the occasional small top up at the local (not a Woolies), so we'll definitely be cancelling our subscription as that 10% was the only reason we subscribed.
Another great "enhancement"... 🙄

Mine just landed in the app. Free Maggi Instant Noodle Cup 58g-70g.

It doesn't sound very inspiring.
