Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I have never received a single targeted offer! After the first couple of months and no rewards from the new scheme I switched to Coles who regularly send me offers. I do the occasional small shop at Woolies if there is something I want very cheap or there are a few products Coles don't stock. These still haven't generated any offers so clearly my business is unwanted. When shops earnt QFF points I probably spent $1000 per months at Woolies.

Just did a quick little shop at Woolies.
$40 off a $43 shop, so my cost $3.
I thought the bonus money would come off in $10 max lots.

No, the system seems to be set up to use any accumulated dollars as quickly as possible.

Got a targeted offer 4 weeks ago. Spend $150 for each of 3 weeks to receive $30,$30 & $60.
Duly spent the $150 for each week and received the $120 in my account during the week.

Did the shopping today and the total came to $104.00.
Scanned my card and was expecting the amount due to drop to $4.00, but no some message comes up on the screen (i couldn't see the screen). But the girl told me there was a message on the screen needed to call the manager over.

The manager told me that there was some sort of clitch in the system and the system was trying to credit me $100.
I explained to the manger that I had earned $120 with a targeted offer.

The manager insisted that it was a mistake and people had been getting credits that they weren't entitled to.
I explained to the manager that Woolworth's computer problems were not my concern.

She was adamant that she was not going to honour the credit.
I then pulled out my phone and showed her the original offer and the email showing I had earned the $120.

She asked me if I had the receipts for the last 3 weeks shops, which i hadn't.
It was only when i asked her to contact head office to confirm that she backed down and allowed the credit.

I hope I don't have to go through this with every targeted offer.

Anyway lesson learnt ....... keep target emails.

Hmmm
I did my shop through the self service checkout and when I scanned my card at the end it came up congratulations you have earned $40 off (my total bill was $43.20). so you owe $3.20. On my docket it says I have $60 woolworths credit still owing.
Might get my docket out of the bin!

We had $60 credit and dad shopped $108 but was only required to pay $48. He was confused and so were the staff until they worked out what was going on.

craiglm I would have told them to forget it and walked out, but good on you for sticking to your guns.

I got a spend $30 get $5 for 2 weeks offer. All that coles spending seems to be paying off! Might pick up a few items this weekend to do week 1 of the offer, and pick everything else up at Coles.

Mrs Bodie got similar offer of $5 off for $30 spend for two weeks then bonus week if done first 2 weeks, get $10 off the $30 spend - then rinse repeat for weeks 4,5,6. Will obviously do this as low spend to get benefit - good as just finished 4 week flybuys offer and got 10000 points last week.

After 5 months I have finally earned $10 from the new rewards program in orange ticket items. The problem is that the Woolworths dollars are spread between 2 of the family member accounts so I can't redeem them anyway.

The good thing is that I'm getting enough targeted offers to keep me going so I'm getting plenty of $10 discounts off my shop in either Wooworths dollars or instant discounts to keep me happy.

I figure in another couple of months I'll be able to redeem the orange ticket item Woolworths dollars and I might even get lucky enough to get a scan to win instant discount off my shop.

Recently took up '20% off Flight Centre gcs' at WoW where the 20% off is received in WoW $. So earn $31.50 per FC gc ($150 + $7.50 activation fee) x 20%

Supposed limit of 5 cards per customer (account).

Unfortunately the 'supervisor' did not know how to over-ride the 'large amount' warning - so forced to do them in 3 x $150 FC gc and then new transaction of 2 x $150 FC gcs.

For the first 3 of the family members accounts the WoW system automatically deducted $90 from the subsequent 2 x transaction.

As each series of 5 FC gc purchases generated $157.50 of WoW $ it actually FINALLY meant that since the start the $2.60 (one account) and $3.10 (another - I weakened and forced the F&V spend to over $10 though got 4 fruit that went mouldy by next afternoon) is now available to spend when added to the $157.50 -

For the 4th family member - it didn't. Then in a subsequent normal shopping transaction - it didn't again yet the docket generated for that transaction stated that 'Congratulations you have over $160 WoW $.

Finally get some to use and WoW stops me spending them when I wanted to!!! Supervisor said, honestly, "I have no idea how they work and more often then not they don't. There's a number you can call."

Not happy Jan!

Both mum and myself received an offer of $10 Woolworths dollars for $100 spend this week.

The spend target has crept up from previous offers.

The website is offering that for online shops as well, using code "10DOLLARS" at checkout

one advantage of shopping online is that it is easy to control what happens to the bonus. you have to actually tick a box for it to be deducted from your total

Finally got an offer after 12 weeks or so (last was xmas week). Totally useless. There is no way whatsoever that I will spend $100 in a single transaction.
