Well I have completed week 3 of the shopping task and earned another $50 off.
Thats a total of $100 earnt over 3 weeks for a total spend of $420.
Yes I have probably sold my shopping soul, but I did not buy anything I would not have, and it was good to be able to spread it over multiple shops.
Current offer is spend $145 in one transaction for an instant $20 saving. It starts this week and runs for 3 consecutive weeks.
We won't be chasing this offer as I dislike the one transaction rule. It is unnecessary and doesn't, IMO, promote loyalty as it not friendly towards the customer.
It certainly explains why I spent $100 at Coles this afternoon. There was an article in the last week or so where the WoW pesos was described a NOT a loyalty scheme but a 'margin' (I think the term was) expanding scheme to benefit WoW not its customers.
It went on to explain that with so many schemes around that WoW had taken the view that there was no longer any value in a "loyalty" scheme.
Explains so much...
