Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Did a quick shop this afternoon, and at the bottom of my receipt there was, in order:

Save $5 on your shop next week - Spent $50 in one shop between Monday and Sunday next week and scan your card to instantly save $5.
Last Chance! Save $5 on your shop next week - Spent $50 in one shop between Monday and Sunday next week and scan your card to instantly save $5.
You can still instantly save $5, just spend $50 in one shop by this Sunday

All three also had gumf about updating your details to get more offers. My email address is correct, but I haven't received an email about any of them. Although now I've just logged in to my account, and it has my work email address, despite weekly special emails going to my personal email account. Very strange

Well these are kind-of Woolworths Dollars.

I find that checking my docket for overcharging, before leaving the store, pays more in $ refunds than I have accumulated in razoos this year. Usually around 3 x $2.95 a week. Its been like this for the last 3 weeks and although I have informed staff the price on the shelf is consistently 5c under the price in the computer.

Yesterday there was a special on Dellarosa Pizzas (good for a quick snack) with a tag on the shelf saying 2 for $10 (normal price $6.99). So I purchased 2 items to get the discount price, but was charged $6.99 each. On questioning this was refunded $8.98, getting one item free and paying $5 for the other, so a lot more cashback than the almost 4 razoos I have accumulated since the start of the year.

I thought today would be the day that new offers were sent out for Everyday Rewards members. We've just finished 2 offers for our family and I was hoping the other 2 family members would get a spend $30 for $5 offer for the next 2 weeks.

I'm fairly busy taking up a couple of flybuys offers for the next 3 weeks but I could still manage a small offer for Woolworths as well.

I reached the spend target today for the first week of my offer (spend $85 for 15 WW$) and it's annoying that, unlike the previous offer I received, the WW$ aren't added to the account immediately. There was a message on the bottom of my docket "Congratulations, you have earned $15 bonus Woolworths Dollars" but the balance on my rewards account hasn't changed - I wonder if the bonus amounts will be added progressively or all at once at the end of the promotion. I noted on the original offer email it states that the WW$ will be added to the account "by 20 March" so will have to keep the dockets and check the account to make sure I do actually get them!

I've seen other members complain about the feature of this offer. I'm guessing it's harder for them to track the spending and credit the dollars when the transactions are spread out. I don't think it's very fair however and I think they should be able to get this sorted out. 20 March is a long time to wait for a reward of this type. The Woolworths dollars I got this week from the offers are in my account already but I had the offers where everything had to be done in one transaction.

I finished off the required spend also.
But I didnt realise that I had to wait until 20 March. Thanks for the heads up I will keep my docket.

I am still waiting for my second lot of Qantas points from the earlier promotion this month.

.

I didn't realise either, to be honest - I remembered seeing the "will be added to your account by 20 March" note when I received the offer but thought that was probably a "in case we have technical difficulties with this offer as well, the missing dollars will be added by that date" sort of thing, but obviously not. As the dollars had been added instantly each time the spend target was reached on the last offer, I thought the same would happen this time so was quite disappointed this morning when no WW$ were added! And as rainbowgirl mentioned, it is quite unfair to expect people to have to meet these spend targets and then wait up to 3 weeks to receive the bonus when it's being done instantly on other offers - and also unfair that we have to keep checking and checking to make sure we do actually receive the bonus we're entitled to - not to mention the hassles in having to chase these things up when their system fails.

What I don't like is that although I received the "congratulations" message on the bottom of my receipt, the fact that you've qualified for the bonus amount doesn't show ANYWHERE on your account (or not that we can see anyway), so as you said, we'd better make sure we keep those receipts!

Ended up taking up one of the $50 for $10 offers, and now have $15 dollaroos for a future shop. Will use Mrs Excel's card in the meantime. Bonus rupiah mentioned on the docket itself.

i'd activate but not meet the target - lets them know you actually received the offer but choose not to meet the targets

We ended up hitting the first week target so now have WWR25 to come off the next shop. Not really what I planned as I don't want WOW to push up my spend targets, but since we spent the money anyway the bonus Rupiah are welcome.

Did a shop yesterday and when home I looked at the receipt and saw: 'you have just $2.83 to spend to by this Sunday to get $20 bonus Woolworth dollars' (sic).

So back to the local Woolies to spend just a little more.

Seems I got an offer today that I can earn 29 WW DOLLARS when I spend $200 or more online.

What do these convert to?? Never bothered with Woolies since the changes..

Basically you will eventually earn $29 off your shopping. The Woolworths dollars can only be redeemed in $10 multiples and you don't get to choose which shopping transaction they will come off. If you take up the offer you will get at least $20 off on your first transaction after the promotion has been credited to your account. In order to redeem the remaining $9 you will need to have at least $1 of Woolworths dollars earned from the orange ticket items which will bring the total of Woolworths dollars to just over $10.

We don't have a general offer thread for Woolworths Rewards at the moment so I'm going to put a catalogue offer here. If Woolworths Rewards decide to have ongoing general offers I'll start up a thread.

In the catalogue starting March 2 there is a Woolworths Dollars promotion. Spend $10 on Fruit and Vegetables in one transaction and receive $1 in Woolworths Dollars. This works out to around a 10% discount but of course you have to have $10 in Woolworths dollars in order to redeem them.

The promotion at this stage goes from March 2 to March 22.

My gut feeling is that they will make this an ongoing offer but this is only my speculation. I don't have any inside knowledge.

I still have not received my points either.
I was going to email them but when I click on the "contact us" option nothing comes up.
Do I have to phone them or should I wait until Wednesday?

Spent $65 per wk for 2 wks get $10 woolies dollars per wk.
Doesn't need to be in 1 transaction.

Activated ... thanks we'll tick that box.

Provided the reward is in usable chunks i.e min $10 or a block of QF points then we may bite.
If they drop to less than a manageable outcome i.e needing $10 off to make it work, they can get stuffed.

And I really would like the option of Woolies dollars or QF points.

P.S We used the last offer which was $70 single transaction for $15 (was same for 2 weeks, so a manageable outcome) and earned an additional 0.30 cents of woolies dollars through spending on actual product via orange stickers.

I would wait until Thursday morning and check your account then. The person I spoke today had already been briefed on the issue and gave me the answer straight away. They know what is going on and that customers are getting ticked off, but out of the hands of the call centre folks.

New offer received: $1 Woolworths peso for any transaction which includes $10+ on fruit and veg. Max $1 per transaction, but can be done multiple times during promo period.

Valid from 2 - 22 March. No activation link included in eDM, so would assume it is already linked.

I have something similar, although the T&Cs are not clear on whether the $10 has to spent in one transaction or multiple:

Fruit & veg offer
