Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Like some others here, I have stopped shopping at WW, except for odds and ends. Until WW redesign their loyalty program and price competitively I won't be going back in a hurry.

I've only done a couple of small shopping trips there since the end of the 4 week promotion.

I am wondering whether all of this has to do with the end of the financial year. Is this a good time or a bad time for targeted offers from the loyalty program's point of view? I think the WWD to QFF points issue also has something to do with that. They are definitely running behind time on that feature.

Would be really interesting to see some statistics on how many people abandoned WW after this ridiculous peso system was introduced.

Personally I still haven't received an even semi decent offer across 4 accounts since its inception and therefore went from 100% loyalty to 0%. I still shop there but only for items on special, and those items never have any peso's attached so I also don't swipe either of the 4 cards.

I can't believe the cost of a few points to WW outweighed the mass exodus of disillusioned shoppers from WW in general.

May never see it start. That offer is way too generous.

While we don't know what QF charge WoW for the points, we do know that 1.14 cents per point is on the upper scale of most aff-er's point purchasing limits. I'm not sure it's that generous, to be honest.

It's generous compared to the Auto Rewards conversion which was 1500 points for a $10 Wish Card.

As we must be fast approaching a year of $W (it seems that way to me) - 2 accounts have still not risen above $4 - despite those misleading promises that EVERY account would get $10 within a short time period.

Our shopping patterns haven't changed but the amount going to WoW sure has (specials excepted and FC GC offers). Better half no longer goes to WoW at all unless I'm driving.

870 points for $10 W for two of the family accounts (added together) would have seen over $3,000 spent to earn less than $8 so far. Under the old scheme we'd have (with a couple of bonus offers etc) north of 5,000 points.

The other accounts between them (other than FC GC offers) have earnt about $35 W on $5,000 spend.

Coles has been a great beneficially of the $W scheme (and their shareholders).

I couldn't agree more.

Woolworths have trashed my 'loyalty' to the point that I receive absolutely nothing from them if I shop there.

My $160+ per week shop now goes to Coles, where I get regular FB bonus offers that will end up being used for EY or VA J flights.

The only items I buy from Woolies now are their 1/2 price specials if it is something that I need. This is far better than 'earning' Pesos on unwanted overpriced items with orange stickers that provide no real value but does nothing to help my QFF (or Pesos) balance at all.

Same here. Used to only shop at Woolworths bar the odd special at Coles or Aldi. Now it's 90% Coles, 10% Aldi and the odd bits and pieces at Woolworths if I can't find something elsewhere.
I've not received any offers...

This paragraph neatly summarises everything.

Woolworths Rewards is without question the most disastrous loyalty program launch in Australian history. It is simply a matter of the absence of value. Members chose to engage with the new program because they were promised value (in the form of Woolworths Dollars), which would exceed the value they were earning via Qantas Points. Members very quickly (and on social media very vocally) disengaged from the program when they perceived the value was not being provided.

Still no targeted offers from Woolworths Rewards. Sunday was usually the day that they were sent out.

Is there anyone who has signed up as a Woolworths Rewards member since the changeover and knows the pattern of Welcome Targeted offers?

The old program used to have a particular pattern of offers when new members joined but I don't know whether the new program has such a system.

my problem with myer cards is that i never buy anything from Myer. Maybe someone can enlighten me about something worth buying that isn't vastly overpriced.
