Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I finally got an offer.

It is spend $40 get 10 off. Good timing as I need to top up my opal card.

So they get my second ever scan - post dropping QFF.

Hmm just went to top up my opal card..

When/how do I know if it worked?

Nothing on my receipt about my bonus $10 I&S money

I'd read this carefully:

'*Qualifying amount can be spent in one or more transactions each week, and excludes BWS, liquor, smoking/tobacco products, gift cards and selected services. Offer not available at Woolworths online. Your Woolworths Dollars associated with this offer will be added to your balance immediately after earning them (when you scan your card).''

And then log on to your account to see if the $$$'s have been added.

I am guessing that Opal is considered part of Selected Services. Opal is also excluded under the current general coupon on the front page of the catalogue.

I've just come home from doing my $40 shop to get $10 WWD. The $10 appeared on the screen as soon as my card was swiped and there was a notation on my receipt to say the $10 would come off my shopping on my following visit.

Hmm yes I did read that - however opal has never been exclude before so assumed it wasn't now.

They have totally lost me it is excluded!

Edited to say log in worked...

And guess what seems opal is exclude - dumb move!

I can see my petrol voucher for this spend (so opal counts for petrol??) But no I&S money.

Sigh

Opal has been excluded from different offers previously.

Okaaaay ... so I met the spend target for the first week ($70 in one or more transactions, get $10 Bonus) and have now just received ANOTHER offer a few minutes ago which says:

For the next two weeks, you can supercharge your savings by earning up to $30 bonus Woolworths Dollars!

Still the same spend target of $70 for the week, PLUS the following week has been added to the offer, but now it's "earn $15 Bonus Woolworths Dollars" for both weeks. On this second offer, the current "week" actually started 3 days ago (!) on 30th November and finishes on Sunday 6/12 rather than Tues 8/12 as per the first offer. So if I reach $70 and qualify for this week's bonus, will they offer me more money next week? LOL

ETA: Ok, now I'm REALLY confused as it seems (according to my latest Woolies receipt) that I'm eligible for BOTH bonus amounts this week. I picked up a few items at Woolies this evening, and on the bottom of my receipt it says (same as last week's "running total"): "You're on your way to Bonus $10 Woolworths Dollars - you have just $57.63 to spend by 8/12 etc etc"

But just above that, another section says: "Earn $15 Bonus Woolworths Dollars, spend $70 in one shop by 6/12 to get $15 bonus Woolworths dollars". The Ts & Cs on the email for this second offer (same as the original $10 offer) state: "Spend at least $70 in one or more transactions during each of the designated weeks" etc etc. But then a couple of lines down from that, it says: "Qualifying amount must be spent in a single transaction during the offer period".

Does anyone actually proofread these things before they're sent out??

In the "just for you" specials of their email this week, the sensitive laundry powder we usually buy. $5.59 isn't a bad price, but they have $3.09 Woolies dollars back - $2.50/kg is a pretty great deal.

With the double-dollars promotion still on, it costs $5.59 and I get $6.18 WW dollars! I wonder how many boxes will fit in my cupboard? :)

I may be mistaken but I think there is a limit to the number of $WW you can earn a week so don't go 'taco' before you check (or somene who has paid more attention than me confirms/denies)

I think you're right. I recall someone on Ozbargain mentioning that there was a $10 limit of $WW, but that was over the full 4-week period of the promotion, not per week! Would definitely pay to check the Ts & Cs if anyone still has the original offer email.

Obviously nothing to stop you buying the laundry powder spread over multiple EDR cards

Well, much to my surprise, it turns out I was eligible for both promotion offers this week. Spent just over $80 this morning, the $10 bonus WWD I earned last week came off, leaving the total just over $70 for the shop, which apparently qualified me for both the $10 for Week 2 of the original offer and the $15 for Week 1 of the second offer, as both have credited to my card.

OPAL has always been excluded as part of the selected services. However the WW software wasn't good enough to exclude it and OPAL always counted as spend in offers for QFF bonus offers, etc. However WW eventually 'fixed' this around August / September this year and since then it hasn't counted. However it still counts towards the $30 spend for petrol vouchers.

Received a confusing offer today.

Hi John,

Earn 30c Woolworths Dollars for every $1 spent on cheese*.

You'll earn 30c bonus Woolworths Dollars for every $1 you spend on
any cheese throughout Woolworths supermarkets until Tuesday 8th
December 2015. Simply activate and scan your card when you shop. That
means if you spend $10 on cheese, you'll instantly earn $3 Woolworths
Dollars.

This offer has been selected just for you.

Then they list 3 products in the email

- Bega Stringers $7.35 and earn $1.79 Woolworths dollars
- pantalica ricotta $5.99 and earn $0.90 Woolworths dollars
- Kraft perfect melt $4.99 and earn $0.50 Woolworths dollars

And what is this limit on Woolworths dollars earned per week? Hope that is for a specific promotion and not general shopping.

Except for the fact that I have earnt QFF pts for every transaction - even since WWD has come out.
