Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

As WoW were offering spend over $100 get $10 Pesos off your next shop - the clever crew in spin-central did not increase the number of catalogues printed.

As the email clearly states "Don't worry if you don't have a printer just pick up a catalogue".

Trouble is catalogues ran out on Thursday, Friday and Friday respectively for the 3 WoW stores I went shopping at for some of my Flight Centre $150 gcs.

My household didn't even get a catalogue.

My household didn't even get a catalogue.

We often don't get the catalogues either, and if I don't get the chance to pick one up from our local Woolies first thing on Wednesday morning, they're all gone by the afternoon and they never put any more out.

My household didn't even get a catalogue.

Neither did we (physically). We get the email version and with no working printer - relied on WoW's instructions. No smartphone either...

Tried again just now, and the registration has gone through.

You are blessed!

Tried the other 3 just now and here's the response:

There's only so much patience on the planet...

On the positive side turned negative....

Trouble is catalogues ran out on Thursday, Friday and Friday respectively for the 3 WoW stores I went shopping at for some of my Flight Centre $150 gcs.

Today I asked for the store manager as curiously enough the Service manager's folder copy of the catalogue was also missing - so no way to get the $10 offer for any customers who relied on what WoW said in the email.

I suggested he photocopy his catalogue coupon and provide it to the checkouts so if a customer requested a catalogue (as instructed by WoW) then his staff could comply.

His reaction, "I'll have to check with WoW security on MONDAY."

Customer service and WoW Pesos achieve another golden moment!

As the owner of one of the magic catalogues I also bought another 21 of the $150 FC gcs. At first he was reticent and asked whether I had purchased 10 the previous night. Curiously enough I had and pointed out that I was denied the QFF points as the night service mgr had cancelled the transaction but forgot to scan my EDR card he was holding.

After a little discussion about the 4th from back page of the catalogue "Max 10 cards per TRANSACTION" he agreed to process as many as I wanted (and that I happened to have a pile of as the store had none).

So near $10k of WoW spending and .........
$10 Wow pesos possibly. $10 Pesos did not come off subsequent transaction, nor the one after that, nor the one after that.

Post Dec 31 is going to make these 10% off offers far less points worthy!

Our store had catalogues at the checkout....

We had a spend $40 for $10, and a spend $50 for $10 on our two cards, so split the shopping to earn both, rather than using the spend $100 for $10. That's $20 to put towards next weeks shopping.

Stores get the catalogues in the internal mail. My store gets the mail drop twice a week with the first (Tuesday) containing 2 or 3 bundles of catalouges. So we only get about 60 copies to put out.
The store gets a copy emailed to the store account. If the filed copy had "gone missing", then the duty manager should just have gone into the email and found the current weeks catalouge PDF to print.

Not that big an 'if'.

Both wife and I received a new offer of $10 off for spend $100 by 08 December. I believe this is not targetted and is open to all. Just need to scan a barcode from the email but is also in catelogue.

These are truly good discounts. The QFF points can go and get stuffed.

These discounts of $10 off for spend of $100+ were around previously so it isn't a creation of the new program.

One of our family accounts got the $10 credit in Big W and we also had trouble activating it.

Another family member got $10 off online when buying Bonds and a couple of other accounts.

My card which gets used at Big W from time to time didn't get anything. I guess I spent too much on Christmas presents there.

This current promotion is an attempt to build up the Big W database once they lose the connection to the Everyday Rewards database which they have been using. Perhaps they are going to come up with their own loyalty program.

This time 3 accounts got the spend $10 at Big W and get $10 off at Big W

Big W offer said:
This offer runs from 6 to 13 December 2015.

When you activate this offer, $10 off credit will be added to your
rewards card and will be deducted at the checkout when you spend over
$10* in one transaction in a BIG W store before the 13 December 2015.

Can't register right now but if I do manage to register and spend $10 for each of 3 accounts does that mean it has not cost me anything?

I finally got my $10 credit to activate. I just hope it works when I go to use it during the week.
How do you get the credit? Check online?

I didn't realise wife and I have $10 credit for spend > $10 and brother has $10 credit for online spend >$10 on Bonds etc.

And another, finally all the others have worked.

Well if T&Cs are correct you will have spent at least 3 cents provided you pay by cc or gc.

As it says must spend OVER $10. So the challenge is to now find items that add up to $10.01 - go to it!

I was thinking of three sets of Xmas Lights at$14 pre $10 off myself.

I finally got a message on screen to say my offer had been activated instead of the Oops message.

You have to read the offer wording carefully in order to figure out whether you received an in store offer or a limited online offer.

I'll be going to Big W tomorrow in order to use my $10 credit and attempt to convert a Big W egiftcard into a physical Wish card.

It wasn't worth me going there for just one of those things but doing both will probably make it worth it.

I wonder if I can just use the barcode number from the Everyday Rewards account not the Woolworths Rewards account and still get the discount? Cards should still be the same. May try tomorrow as they have bite size Mars bars, picnic etc on special for $2.25 for 12 pack. Don't mind spending $4.50 for 120 bite size bars.

The barcodes shouldn't have changed. The new cards are just a rebrand. There is no reason to stop using the old EDR cards.

It's not easy and I don't think I can keep on top of it but using a number of offers concurrently did manage to earn ourselves over $106 of either Woolworths or real dollars doing a $308 shop in two lots. Picked up another $15 with the 5% off gift card so all in all a good nights work and I'm not even counting the savings we made through normal specials. We also maxed out the double points offer for two of us, so probably another twenty odd dollars still to come. We did buy about $80 of cheese for christmas so that helped with the 30% offer but other than that, everything else was on the shopping list. There did seem to be more Woolworths dollar offers than I had seen before and they were on things we often buy like eggs, milk, cheese, cereals etc

As I said, it wasn't easy, no way you can just shop normally and let them look after for you. The offers all came separately and really had to think about how they could be fully utilised. There were 5 different offers that came individually and I don' think the majority of people really could manage properly but if they keep coming like this, may well end up better than the QFF scheme much as I hate to say that

G'day guys n gals.
So just read thru posts n see some of you refer to BigW and possibility that they are considering their own Loyalty program.
Saw on 9news tonight that KMART want to purchase 50+ BigW stores from Woolworths in the foreseeable future.

Guessing that may have an interesting outcome in regards to the future...
