Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

gotGreat news, you’ve got $10.00 Woolworths Dollars off your next shop° but couldnt use it .... wondering if someone manage to use this offer?

More details from you needed.

Did you have your EDR card when you shopped on your next visit?

Did you scan it?

Did your purchases total at least $10.05?

Did you already select QFF points instead of instant cash back?

Did you save your cash back until Christmas?

I didn't realise there was hidden text until the post was quoted and even then I had to highlight it in order to read what was there.

The reward will be on your card. No-one else can use rewards loaded onto your card.

The Woolworths system is good in that if you get exactly $10 worth of eligible goods and have $10 reward stored on your card, it will be a free transaction.

I suspect the Flybuys $10.05 rule is an IT work around, same with the 0.01c for the vouchers and dockets.

I had $20 on one card and had a $20 purchase that ended up being free.

Did you have your EDR card when you shopped on your next visit? yes

Did you scan it? yes

Did your purchases total at least $10.05? was $10 (T&C stateed $10)

Did you already select QFF points instead of instant cash back? yes

Did you save your cash back until Christmas? no

You said you chose conversion to QFF points. The systems probably haven't been set up properly. The message on the receipt will say you'll get $10 off your shop but in fact the funds will be held and then converted to QFF points at the set date.

I think there are still some bugs to be ironed out of the new system.

For WW you don't need $10.05 to get $10 off. I did a transaction for exactly $10 and got everything for free.

Did you already select QFF points instead of instant cash back? yes

On that basis you should not have received $10 off your shop.

Log into your EDR account and it should show a record of your accumulation towards QFF points which will be awarded in December.

Yes mine appears the same. But as you have selected QFF points you don't get cash off as well. That $10 represents 1000 points which will be redeemed for 870 QFF points on 15/12/16.

That's Flybuys. For example my 4 week at WW offer is $120 or 12000 points.

PS just went to my emails and there was a 4 week offer from Flybuys-$110,same as WW,for $75 or 15000 points.

No. This is not correct.

It's the same offer.

That's the standard manner in which it appears in your account.
The other family account has the same settings but doesn't show $10 off. Only Dollars that would be converted to qff... That is why i am wondering...

Has anyone else received what appears to be a random $10 off offer at point of sale?

Yes, that's the scan to win competition that started in November last year and is probably due to finish soon. It was a way to get members to scan their new cards when the previous revamp of the rewards program happened. A certain number of members are selected each week and if they scan their card that week, they receive $10 off. If the selected members don't scan their card the prize goes into the second chance draw which I'm guessing is later this year. It's been ages since I checked the terms and conditions of that promotion.
