Just received my Gold email. Matched from QF SG. Very relieved, as last time I applied for the promo, I received no communication whatsoever.

Same for me. Matched from QF SG. Does anyone know how long it takes for the card to be sent out?

My email said 'on or before 31 May'. Hoping for asap, so that I can double dip and try for Air Berlin match.

Email has come through for me now, match from Aegean Gold, I had given up hope also
So that makes..
Aegean Gold (through flying)
Aegean Gold -> TK Gold
TK Gold -> Air Berlin Gold
Aegean Gold -> EY Gold

I use my AS status Match from QF silver to AS MVP once.

But on that flight I saved our group $150 in baggage fees, got Mrs Excel an exit row seat, and myself a free upgrade to first.

So I'd take the matches wherever they come.

Yes but some carriers would only match somebody ONCE and that's it, so unless you have a plan for it's use I feel it's a bit of a waste of time.

Sending the VA Gold details might have been self-defeating.
The terms state that status matches are not available to members of their partner airlines' FF programmes.

I have still had no response to my request to match QF Platinum, sent on the 22nd of February.

Matched to QF WP, applied back on 27th Feb.

I applied on 2 March and received my welcome email to Etihad Gold on Friday 10 April matched from QF WP. Now to work out how to fit the extra card in my wallet......

My QF gold expired on 31st of March, just got the magic email this morning matched to Etihad Gold! Only question is where does it show the expiry date online?

Do you find that you can't login after you have been upgraded to gold? I can't seem to login to my Etihad account....?
