Got an email out of the blue confirming my enrolment in EY Guest. I clicked the email to confirm my registration - didn't say anything about gold but I have to guess they're looking at my claim - hopefully the rest comes through!

No, sorry. I signed up again (with a different address but obviously the same name) and then requested a match using a different FF card then I had done with my original membership. So in effect, I started again.

There is a list of virgin Australia lounges on that website. Is it only restricted to those? Or all VA lounges domestically? Ie is there access to Gold Coast VA lounge?

I'm very pleased as my VA Gold expires at the end of August.

No card yet, no idea how long they normally take. The TK one took months

no card yet either. Spoke to them over the phone, and they mentioned that they are currently in the process of rebranding their cards - so new ones will be issued as soon as that happens... no ETA on time though (so likely a few months..)

There's an option to print the card in your account. I've done that and printed the welcome to gold email, which contained this:

When will I get my new Etihad Guest Gold Card?

As we are in the process of redesigning our Etihad Guest cards, your new Etihad Guest Gold card will be sent to you on or before 31 May 2015. We’ll email you again to confirm when your new card has been successfully dispatched.

In the meantime, if you are planning to travel before your new card arrives, simply print out a copy of this email (which is valid until 31 May 2015) and present it at the airport to enjoy all the benefits exclusive to your Gold membership.
