Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

So I was walking down Brisbane's main street Sunday arvo, and whom should walk towards me but the famous Mal from this forum and another place. The people I seem to run into.... Then , as a result, I ran into him later in the evening at a hotel executive lounge. Wink thingy. John.

Yeah, was good catching up - but bizarre how we were both walking down the same street (opposite ways) and saw each other. Then again, with FT and AFF, I run into random people all over the globe, so perhaps it shouldn't be that strange!

I would love to travel with Al pacino. Can anyone please tell me which route he frequently flies on :D

Had the QLD Premier in 2A this afternoon up from Sydney, felt funny sitting in front of her in 1A.

Peter Garrett was on the flight from SYD-CBR this evening two rows in front of me in the window seat.

I thought this was about famous people!!

He can't even throw pink batts in the ceiling.............

Were you both in J or you in 4 and ol Pete in row 2?

Or were you on the dash?

Saw D icko on QF422 on Saturday morning. He was in 1A we were in 1J & K. He waved to my daughter which she thought was pretty cool!

I had breakfast with her (+1) at the Intercon club lounge yesterday, well, not really with her - she was there while I (+Master mini Dot) were there eating breakfast.

To be fair, given all the evidence uncovered by news ltd, it seems that not many tradies can throw pink batts in the ceiling either.

Unless I should ignore News Ltd stories about pink batts in the same way that their stories about qantas are to be ignored?

I don't know who "****o" is.:(

Don't worry he is nobody.

During 2009 when I flew LHR-SIN, I was fortunate to be on the same flight as Eddie Jordan, former owner of the Jordan F1 team (now Force India) and presenter on the BBCs F1 coverage. He was probably all of 6 feet away from me at baggage claim.

Also, numerous pollies coming in and out of the CL at CBR. I also walked past Mark Holden at MEL once and came close to asking if his flight touched down on time.

I still think of him as famous, but I choose to ignore anything post Midnight Oil. And some of the later Midnight Oil stuff.

Saw Guy Sebastian in J SYD-BNE last night QF556. J was almost empty - I was in 23B. He was hanging out with a couple of big guys. I saw them walking through BNE airport side by side and a bloke in the airport in front of them turned around and I saw the recognition on his face. He walked up to one of the guys (not Guy S) and said "G'day Brett! Can I get an autograph." Yes it was Brett Lee. He said "Sure!" That's the last I knew as I walked on. Wonder if Guy was put out he wasn't recognised the same way.

Just last week I was in TSV staying at Rydges when I saw some grey haired baldy bloke having breakfast by himself. It was John Howard! Hard to imagine a former US president not surrounded by bodyguards. And not staying at the Sheraton.
I checked the local rag and he was in town for a book signing. Wonder if anyone came?
