I didn't have the chance to talk to him. I was told he was on the flight by the FA. And we took of 25 minutes late but surprisingly landed only 10 minutes late. Maybe QF have a squawk code to tell ATC that he is onboard! Lol
 
Rampaging Roy Slaven and Tim Horan in the Brisbane business lounge just now. Some other rugby types as well but I didn't know who they were....
 
Not flying but lounging by some definitions: Mrs N and I had dinner with* a VERY rich Australian woman (think iron ore) near a lake in the northern hemisphere. Sorry I am being deliberately vague so as not to impinge on anyone's holiday

Last year we turned up at the J desk as check-in was about to commence for QF1, and seemed to be first in the queue. A charming QF attendant waved us over and said we might as well get started, when there was a loud "hurrumph" to our right, as Germaine Greer elevated from the waiting lounge, expressing considerable indignity at our impudence at pushing in.

I've recently moved to the area. I get very annoyed when I can hear the planes! Don't they know that the quiet leafy solitude of the eastern suburbs is not to be interrupted? That's what Elizabeth and Noarlunga are for.

They fly over my house in the Eastern subs too...... the 6am wake up when they do!
 
A number of sombre looking NRL State of Origin Blues players, coaches etc like Gus Gould, Freddy Fittler & Ricky Stuart at BNE Domestic heading back to SYD after last night's State of Origin loss to the Maroons. :p
