Farewell QF 81/82 run SYD-ADL-SYD [Sat 13 -Sun 14 April]

We will be found in 25 A&B on QF81 and ATM 6 A & C QF764 (Sunday)

We are staying at the Hilton, AP is very good at the moment and will go with the flow dinner wise - I vote Chinese at one of many excellent restaurants in Gougar Street, my personal Fav being Wah Hing (Wah Hing - Gouger Street - Adelaide | Urbanspoon)

Will need guest Bigpete (thanks Medhead) and I believe Oz_mark (+1?)

Can't wait

PS - planning a Panda trip for Sunday if anyone else is interested

Love the fact that a JASA on QF81 now is 56,046 points more than I paid on Wednesday, sadly my whY on the way over is now $50 cheaper...

You win some, you lose some...

Also looking forward to this commemorative event, my first visit to the Flounge and putting some faces to names...

Mrs Shintaro thinks I'm a little warped to fly to SYD to spend some time in a lounge where I have never been before, meeting people I have never met before, burning 000's of points on a JASA on a flight which Qantas no longer thinks we in ADL need, then ending up back here in ADL where I started... all be it 7 hours after I left where I started.

I'm sure this is very logical and an extremely good idea to most people on here ..... I hope

I have asked straitman to update post 1. We are one over our guesting allocation, which should be ok. Any further attendees need to keep in mind that we may not be able to guest everyone.

Sadly Red Roo is unable to join us, however I have emailed QF to see if another representative is able to come along.

There are now 16 of us which is great to see.

Hmm, the numbers don't seem to be falling my way here.

Hopefully we should be fine. I have Flounged before where the numbers aren't quite right, but close enough was good enough. We need to ask nicely at the door, and hope the lounge is not too busy.

Depending on numbers, "like" me if you think we should try for the private room at Jasmin http://jasmin.com.au/private-room/... if we get enough for dinner then it should be possible...?

Would be also keen to drain Markis10's minibar... but happy to bring some of my friend reinforcements lol (Mr Johnny Walker Blue esq & Mr Jas Hennesy & Co XO to name a few ), good friends of mine but sometimes get out of control :shock:
