There is indeed one spot. And if beardoc and straitman decide to come, a couple more.

Let me know if you book, and I will give you first dibs on the next WP guest spot that comes along.

I think with the numbers we should be ok being one over our guesting allowance (i.e. BlueAU +1). But I am not prepared to give any assurances past that. Sorry to those who are not WP and have not yet booked, but them's the breaks.

i.e. At the First check-in area at like 9am (to maximise FLounge time)

Also, I am not sure if RedRoo is keeping track of this, letting the good folk at the FLounge know there will be
a group of 20+ visiting that morning.

I have been in touch with the staff at the Flounge, and they are indeed aware of a large contingent of AFFers.

Checking in for QFi can be done pretty well any time, as there are desks open from first (f)light. Perhaps we could meet at 9am at the bottom of the escalators that lead to the Flounge. Anyone there earlier (puts hand up) can then just come out to collect their guestee. I will check with the Flounge whether they would prefer us to arrive en-masse, or in dribs and drabs.

My positioning flight for this event is QF730 arriving SYD domestic @ ~8:25 (Anyone else from ADL on this bird...?) so should be possible to meet up with my guestee sometime around ~9am ish in the international terminal

I nearly done a triple flounge... JQ35 April 11 - have a meeting in MEL on Thursday arvo, thought I better stay away from there as I might have ended up missing the meeting so ended up on the 9am QF

FWIW I have put yet another column in the spreadsheet with connecting flights to SYD. I will update it is as see comments on flights. It may help co-ordinate guesters/guestees a bit better. Now off to the rod factory to get my back measured.

Well shintaro10x and I have deliberated long and hard about the dinner location. The deliberation started at Collins @ The Hilton, and ended up with a walk down Gouger St.

And the winner is...

Wah Hing. 85 Gouger St, Adelaide.

The booking has been made for 25 pax (we are 21 at the moment) @ 7.30. They can take up to 30 in the area we will be seated so there is quite a bit of scope for more to join us. It is just a short stagger from the Hilton, and a (free) tram ride and stagger from the Intercontinental.
