I plan to book the bus on Tuesday mid afternoon. Final chance to get on board for the bus. From what I remember just about everyone on the bus is staying at the Hilton. So I plan to book the next size bus above 16 seats to gets us to the Hilton at 3 pm.

Speak now or forever hold your peace for anything different.

I'll also look to book a table for the Friday drinks.

I suggest that we have the bus collect us at ADL at 3pm.

That will give 33 people time to clear customs with D stickers and back airside for a drink in the QP. That should get us to the Hilton by 3.30.

Yes sorry, I mis-wrote. I'll be booking a pick up at 3pm.
 
Thanks for all the effort put into this Jessica, I myself would not be attending without a nice push from yourself, also the temptation of the Flounge as your guest makes it a wonderful idea and thank you for the suggestive PM a few months ago..

Will be interesting to see who has applied for upgrades and who is successful, hopefuly there is a few more AFF'ers up the front for this flight... see you all in 2 weeks... And thanks again Jess

We're happy to stay in Y for our flight to Adelaide but will be doing a JASA on Sunday ADL-MEL-CBR. Unfortunately there was no availability via SYD;).
 
So what time are people planning to get to the airport on Saturday morning?

The spreadsheet gives a few flight arrival times. It looks like most will touch down between 8 and 8.30 before transferring to the international terminal. I will aim to get there about 8am.

Are you WP, or do I need to 'pair' you up with one for guesting into the Flounge?
 
Im WP so can guest if needed, (we meet in the Melbourne FLounge in Feb while I was on the way to Hong Kong)...

I think ill aim to get there about 8am, depends what time the trains run on weekends
 
Hi Jessica,

BlueAU and I did a trial run on Saturday without incident.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Sydney for drinks on Friday night followed by my down and back flight same day on Saturday.

For those of you staying at the Hilton. They have recently installed the new zipper beds (two bases and two mattresses zipped together for the King). There are a limited number full mattresses available to those that ask :)

I will be arriving to the F Lounge at roughly 8:30am.

I'm staying in my usual Sydney digs in Paddington. Not sure what time I'll get there but might depend on my lounge guest. Will either taxi or train it.

BTW Sydney trains usually start running at about 5 or 6 am.
