Fewer Suites, but larger and plusher coming....

I have SQ232 booked for next year too. Have noticed seatmap hasn't been updated from current 12 seats, even for flights in late December.

We are booked on SQ232 on 28th Jan and SQ221 on 24th Feb. I have my fingers and toes crossed but I'm also wary of changes. We had the A380 swapped out for the 777 on our SIN-CDG and CDG-SIN flights - and prior to that the rush for Savers meant I couldn't follow through with the original plan of ZUR-SIN-SYD so that I could try out the fabled Whiskey bar.

I have also missed out on the Finnair A350 J when they swapped out the plane at the last minute for our HEL-HKG flight. Oh well...First class or Suites (old or new)...I'm going to enjoy every minute :)

I am going to be checking the seat map after the announcement. I'd doubt they would update the seatmap at the moment to risk revealing too much. We have the 3C/3D for SQ221 just to say we have tried the double bed...hence old or new Suites is still a win.

Some breaking pics here.

Looking at the size of the room there is only room at one side of the aircraft, with the bed, the opposite side would be the aisle.

It appears beds are on one side as thought?

Large bathroom but can't see a shower.

Sq have previously said they won't have a shower

I just sit here, quietly hoping that maybe the 777 for my MEL-SIN or SIN-NRT in April 2018 is miraculously changed to be a new a380.

I remain doubtful, but would be awesome to try!
