Final flights for the B767

AustraliaPoochie, like Captain Halliday and RichardMEL, I didn't have any problems getting a visit to the coughpit after the flight landed in MEL. All it took was a smile and a polite request. The crew allowed me to take a few pictures and sat in the captain's seat (and took a few pictures). We also chatted a bit about the aircraft and how all of us are going to miss them.

From what I heard yesterday, one of the flight crew on QF767 has obtained permission from QF to fit a GoPro camera in the flight deck and film the last flight. I really hope this will happen so that we can experience what that flight is like...

Noted, RickyT84, I didn't ask for a flight deck visit on my deplanning on Tuesday this pas week.
As an aside, wry looks from the rest of the colleagues on here, I can't wait for my first Airbus330 dep PER 16.45, arr MEL very late!
Not J.

I have been looking for X to show up on QF517 tomorrow the final 763 to leave Brisbane, currently I am on QF513 at 8:25am to Sydney, at 12:30 I am on a flight to Adelaide. I have bags to check in.

I am not sure if just turning up after bag drop closes for QF513 try and get myself into QF517.

Which airport staff have the highest rank to change flights for a passenger, the complete itinerary includes a flight to Port Lincoln at 5:05pm.

I would assume that the highest authority goes to duty managers/lounge staff, followed by premium service desk, then followed by regular desk. Obviously a non-exhaustive list but I believe that is the gist of hierarchy. Feel free to correct me if wrong.

QF767 now showing J1 (!)
45SC and 1400pts for $949 anyone? :D

EF shows 7 unallocated seats in J.

booo! no OLCI for the booking I'm on. Says check in at airport. Everything's greyed out.

Well beggars can't be choosers right? apparently not! LOL

I'm currently pondering whether to do OLCI or do it at the airport... As I still can't select seats for QF767.
What's the chances of getting better seats through airport check in?

I expect there will be a long queue to visit the coughpit after the flight, but as the aircraft won't be going anywhere in a hurry, anyone who wants to visit should be able to.

Hopefully its done by seat row from front to back :D

Just did OLCI and picked up my BP in the BNE J lounge. My seat selection has stuck and is now firmly secured.

There don't appear to be any changes since Wednesday:

I'm currently looking at the wind forecasts for tomorrow at Melbourne and Sydney.

If these forecasts are correct we'll be using RWY16 for departure from YMML. In regards to YSSY a northeasterly wind is supposed to creep in the late afternoon/evening, by my estimates (just my guesses) we'll have either a RWY16R or 07 arrival... with a slight chance of RWY 34L.

I can't wait for tomorrow, even though i'm still having OLCI problems but i'll just sort it all out at the airport. :o

Did a little bit of a sneaky and managed OLCI via mobile app. moved from 56D (I can't count that far back) to 54B haha. fun times :)

party down the back galley?! lol

To all the Party-goers heading to the SYD J lounge for some after-party, arrivals fun tomorrow night....You might be lucky enough to score yourself a 2 for 1 pass to the new Film out today featuring Russell Crowe 'The Water Divine'.

A lovely lounge angel was walking around the lounge & asked me if I like movies.... So I'm guessing that as I gave 'Yes' as an answer, it was the right answer :)ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1419588117.014283.jpgImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1419588131.141643.jpg

Hmm I may move up to 50. 54 may or may not have a window. the seatmaps at QF source and exprt flyer claim there's a row 55, but that doesn't show on the seat map for this flight..... unless that's where they're storing the bottles of bubbly HA HA :p

re post event - is it settled for J lounge (I must admit i've never used upon arrival, didn't know you could!) or Rydges or both? :D

Not sure about the bubbly... BUT

Rows 24, 29, 31 are all missing windows on this aircraft.
