FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Be careful about how far you load your card with Citi last year amending their Reward Terms & Conditions for Eligible Transactions to exclude points earn when the account is more than $10,000 in credit.
Don't know how closely they enforce this requirement. Have done the odd minor transgression being up to $20,000 in credit though can't say for sure whether I received the points.
DaveB am often 20-50K in credit and points always post. Whilst it is nigh on impossible to accurately track every transaction by quickly creating a spread sheet each month and sorting spend into diff columns you can get a reasonable approximation of pts earning v spend. But as always - YMMV and check your own statements carefully.

Good to know can push the Citi friendship a bit more than I have been.
Complying with the Citi load limit rule has been a right royal pain in the cough particularly when away and having to coordinate with others taking up to a week what used to be done in a day.
Used to just load the card and do the payments together once going over 3x the card limit when the BAS and EOM coincided in the recent good old days .

With the his and hers separate cards we have $160,000 in Citi limits and of course we can reload during the month. With ATO off the table for Citi I think the 2 limits work out ok for us.
Mrscove does not ever want to phone Citi Australia ever again so that makes getting a limit increase difficult.
She loves Citi US as their call centre is really the best.

Yep I must say its a good deal but I'm one of those looking for no annual fee with bonus points on CC sign ups :)

Citi Signature & Westpac Altitude Black (only on Altitude MC) offer extra points for foreign transactions.

I am contemplating on upgrading to the prestige from the signature which is currently annual fee free for life.

$700 annual fee.

No business spend only about 8-10k per month.

Any existing card holders thought on this?

Any benefits that add any good value?

I don't use priority pass lounges when doing O/S trips/

Let's say you spend 100k per annum. Gets you an extra 33k VA or KF points. Price is $700. Approx cost per point around 2c. Marginal value. BUT hotel night I value at about $120. Chauffeur I'm not sure, maybe $50. Anything I'm missing? Priority pass has been a fizzer for me but i seem to remember they were going to build a new one somewhere in Australia? 4 for 3 i haven't used yet but seems promising.

The fee gets discounted to $350 after 1st year quite easily. The overseas multiplier is significant for us as well. Soothes the pain of wife's shopping.

I just went to the reward page. Point transfer is back. To my surprise, there are a whole lot more participating programs!!! These includes Etihad Guest, Delta skymiles, Garuda, Enrich, Thai Orchid, Eva's infinity mileage land, Qatar, IHG and IHH on top of the usual Asia Miles, KF, VA and Emirates! Is it a glitch? Or is it just for US? But I logged into my account and there are icons I can click to proceed to transfer points!

If this is true, well done! Citi! Even though most transfer rate is not great but that is very versatile! Make Citireward the best currency out there!

Please confirm with your account!

The new airlines are part of Select upgrade. I haven't had to register before first points transfer with FF points usually available for use after 2 business days.

Yup, confirmed with Citi Prestige. They have added a "few" new transfer partners. citi 1.jpgCiti 2.jpgciti 3.jpg

I just included the screenshots as a prove, also you can see the transfer rate. Most of them at 2:1, so that is 1 point/$1 spend on a visa card. Not bad at all.

Addition: oops, didn't realize the picture is so small, here are the transfer rates:
@1:1
- IHH
- Club Carlson
@1.5:1
- Krisflyer
- Velocity
- IHG
@2:1
- Asia Miles
- Delta Skymiles
- Etihad Guest
- Flying VBlue
- Garuda
- Enrich
- Qatar Privilege Club
- Royal Orchid Plus
@2.5:1
- Emirates Skyward
@3:1
- EVA Infinity Mileage

EVA is poor value. But apparently it is the only program that will allow you to access most of their award seats now.
