I made full use of VA gift card yesterday. I sort of worked out expiry was 12 months from activation. I booked a $91.30 flight in fact I paid $81.94 for the flight.

I'm trying to come grips with the Flybuys "Household" concept. I'd like to sign up mum, dad, brother, wife and daughter to Flybuys and be able to get $10 off each VA gift card purchased during these promotions. Airfares are now obscene. Any saving is greatly appreciated.

Remember one person in your home can share their SC with you and no more Adults. IIRC children can share your SC. Maybe ask this in the Velocity thread. Also family members can share their points. Maybe time to open e-reward in your brothers, Mothers, Dads, Wife and Daughters name.

The most profitable way to do this is set up an account for each family member. Flybuys would like you to have one account per household however an account per person still falls within their rules. You will need a separate email address for each account, otherwise bonus points will go missing and the phone centre staff will keep telling you to combine the accounts.

I have enough issues operating 1 e-Rewards account. I'm not desperate for frequent flyer points. Quite happy to keep travelling cheap economy.

I'm after the $savings on shopping and airfares.

Anyone had any luck finding ticketek gift card at Coles in Sydney? I’ve tried to find but no luck so far.

Gift cards have been dramatically reduced at my local Coles! The stand has been removed and apparently is not coming back. They only have coles myer, Bunnings, and a couple of others of no interest to me this week

Ticketek giftcards take 48h to activate- grrr as I wanted to buy Ashes tickets straight away

Note that you have to be 16 to have an FB account so Miss JohnK has a few years yet. I have signed up quite a few extended family who dont shop at Coles though

PS: I found my ticketek at Manly Vale scwappy but only $100 left there now

Did I forget how old she was with Woolworths Rewards? A few Virgin Australia gift cards with each promotion should be ok.

113,000 points for me, with 109,000 of these bonus points!! Top 1% for my town (of 1100 people...), Victoria and Australia.

I too was surprised at a large proportion not earning many points- that cap mustn't be a problem for as many as I'd thought?

I'd wager that up to 75% of loyalty program members are basically inactive, so I imagine that percentage looks pretty good for most.

Nothing here (yet), I'd be interested to see what my stats are. I've tried to opt out of most garbage emails so I might not get one.

I've received the summary for my partner but haven't received mine yet. I wonder how they work out the percentage thing. Is it based just one the number of points total or the percentage of bonus points versus base points. I'll report our stats once I have summaries for both accounts.

Based on the two responses so far, it isn't percentage of bonus points (since the lower % of bonus points was a more exclusive % in Australia).

Most likely, just total points earned.
