I found a Vanilla Visa card at my local Coles, once I'd located the gift card stand. They seem to like to relocate it every so often; today it was "land side" of the self-service checkouts.

You'll need a phone running at least KitKat and have NFC. Probably about $100-150.

Have also found out that if you don't open your android pay properly and it fails, the Coles self-serve register will only let you pay with the actual card.
