Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I have

14c $110 to 119.99

16c $120 to $129.99

18c $130 plus

I think I have a better deal than whatmeworry.

The plan will be to activate the extra 10c off bonus (1000 FB points) to get a 28c discount voucher and aim to do a 3 to 4 car fill with as close to 150 litres as we can get

That's not a coughpy outcome for us.

And less money for WW

edit to add: and for a spend of $2 in the servo we can get an extra 2c off....so the next fill will be 30c off per litre. Timed with the cycle we might manage under $1 a litre. WOOT

Both our accounts got 5X points offers for Coles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week. It's not going to get me to spend any more than I was planning but it means I'll get more value for the money I was already going to spend there. We also got 5X(and more) for some of the other flybuys partners but we won't be using the other offers. There are also exclusions on some of the other partners so I wouldn't make anything out of this part of the offer.

If anyone wants more information on the offer I mentioned above, go to the flybuys website. There is a banner which invites members to click for more information on the offer. There is an option then to put in your flybuys number and activate the offer on your account. If anyone hears about any other "choose your own offer" deals please let me know. I'm not sure now whether this belongs in the targeted or general thread. It's kind of a "target yourself" type deal.

I have only recently signed up for my silver card and logged on today to check my email preferences. I was offered the 5x clothing offer on line and when I activated it I was then offered the general 5x offer, which I have also activated.

So it might be worth just logging in to see what is on offer. Excuse me if this is stating the bleeding obvious, however I am new to the whole "I am not shopping with EDR" thing.

Thanks to this offer I plus some vouchers, just earned 2785 flybuys points:
- 1195 points at Shell/Coles Express made up from 1000 bonus points for an 8.5kg gas bottle 'refill' (swap and go) plus 5x points on $39
- 1590 points at Coles made up from 5x point offer plus a 500 bonus points voucher for spending more than $90 and 200 points for spending more than $30 on meat and seafood.

Add nearly 500 QFF points on AMEX and we're on a winner :) Thanks Coles.

Woolworths ... bring back points offers!

Make sure too keep all receips until bonus points are credited

It's so hard to reconcile though! Some show up on the same line item as bonus points. Others show up on the statements from the notional (national??) bonus points outlet.

I have great difficulty reconciling my flybuys bonus points. I work very hard and I'm organised but even then it takes me awhile to figure things out. Last week several bonus point offers got lumped together in one transaction and I had to do a few calculations to confirm which ones had been credited. Some points got credited out of order which made it even more confusing.

We just received some offers on both household accounts. Thet were for triple points on Coles Deli items, bonus points on flybuys box office and agl offers. We might use one of the deli offers but don't need the rest.

I had issue with them recently - they demanded 3 receipts but these points were from last month so lucky i still had them !

I had a winge and told them they need to fix things and make it more simpler

Yes I got the same promo - went to Coles on the weekend spent $70 and will get the x5 points - don't need anything at the deli at this stage apart from meat for next week's sandwiches at work.

My prediction for this weekend was for 500 point bonus offers. I was right about the type of offer but I miscalculated the targeted amount for each of our accounts. For the first time my partner's account has been targeted higher than my account.

My offer is spend $60 for 500 bonus points. My weekly coupon this week is for triple points.

My patner's offer is spend $70 for 500 bonus points. The weekly coupon is for 2000 points for a $50 spend.

I'm going to be buying some Christmas presents this weekend so I could easily do both offers, or I could hold back on some of the Christmas presents and wait for them to reduce my partner's target level back to $60.

Mine is $110 for 500 points. I'm not going to activate and will shop at WW instead as I don't want such high dollar values for offers.

Hmmm, $100 at Coles for 500 pts. I have activated the offer but don't think I will bother trying too hard.

It's great to see that you are getting offers so quickly. We waited a couple of months before my partner's account got any offers. It's possible they may sent out lower targeted offers if you don't take this one off. I stopped using my card on a regular basis and eventually they lowered the limit on my targeted offers.

Funny, I have done the switch to FB for just the same reasons.

It was a little surprising, but considering the EDR drought, I am glad for them..

$70 with 500 points offer for me this week - I spent $70 on last weeks bonus offer. This week's offer is just going to have to go by for me - I don't need anything so badly that would total $70.

Each of our accounts got some offers yesterday. The ones that interested me were from Coles. One offer was for bonus points on Bakery goods and the other was for Meat and Seafood. I'll probably take up both of them on both cards and will hopefully net 600 bonus points for a $30 spend.
