Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Thanks Newk. I heard a rumour these coupons were in the mail and was about to write a post asking whether anyone had received any. Thank you for the details. I am hoping that my partner and I both get a set of coupons. I'll then be able to decide which one to use each week.

My prediction is that my partners spend total will be targeted at $60 and mine will be $100.

No worries. There are a real variety and it will take a big sit down and planning session for us to pick the bones out of the three stacks of offers

Got my coupons today. So many good offers! Looks like I wont be going to a Woolworths, BWS or Big W anytime soon!

Fuel voucher offers this weekend
Me, spend $100 for 14 cents per litre, $110 for 16 cents, $120 for 18 cents.
Partner, spend $60 for 12 cents per litre, $70 for 14 cents, $80 for 16 cents.
Don't really want much at Coles this weekend so will go for the minimum spend of $60 for 12 cents per litre.
I'm hoping if I ignore enough of my offers they will put the lower target down to $80 or $90.

My coupons haven't arrived yet. I hope they didn't get lost in the mail.

I also got a Target targeted offer for 250 bonus points for each bra that I buy. I might try out their new bra fitting service.

My inlaws got their coupons yesterday - my address was still registered in Mount Irvine (oops), NSW - I forgot to change it over to Melbourne! If I do get mail my friend will post it to me - the coupons do look good though :)

For those who have not seen the coupons or are thinking about getting a Flybuys card I have scanned the coupons for all to see.

I think I liked the spend X to get $5 off coupons better. Last time they set my X too high so I only got to use one of the 4 coupons like this. The spend X to get 500 points only represents $2.50 to me and I'd have to wait up til 4 weeks to get it rather than saving $5 instantly. I still hope I get the coupons. The target one looks interesting. I hope it has a long expiry date. I like the look of the 5x one as well. It reminds me of the 5X offers I got last Christmas.

I don't know whether all members will receive the coupons. The last lot of coupons were issued early in August. I received them but my partner didn't. My partner's flybuys account had only been going a month at that stage and they probably didn't have enough demographic information to issue the coupons.

EDIT: I can see the Target expiry date now and I should be able to use the coupon if I get the same one. Thanks for posting the coupon images.

yes it is important to note that they seem targeted. Three card holders in our family got totally different offers. I haven't read the fine print but I think they only work with the targeted holder. That said I'll go off and check

No coupons here yet... so I'll be sticking to WW for the next three weeks with their spend $100 each week, get a $20 voucher offer.

Just got my coupons, October statement and gold gift cards in the one mailout. Now I know why they were taking so long to filter through. I've been chasing all of those with coles/flybuys and noone told me they were all in the same mailout. My partner got them all as well. It will take me a while to sort through them all and I'll report back later. I'm going to have to write on each coupon which card it connects to otherwise I'm going to lose track. I ended up gettting an 8 cent fuel voucher last weekend instead of a 12 cent voucher because I used the wrong card.

Well, I think that my experiment of having two flybuys accounts for the one household has finally paid off.

My coupons are mostly a collection of spend $120 to get 500 points mixed with triple points on a single shop. Last time I ignored most of the spend $110 to get $5 off so I don't know why they raised the spend level to $120 to get a nominal saving of $2.50. The triple points coupons might get used for small top up shops from coles during the week. The christmas and new year coupons were targeted at $140 and offered 1000 points and 5X points.

We hit the jackpot with my partner's coupons. Half of the weekly coupons were spend $50 for $10 off and the other half were spend $50 for 2000 bonus points. This is effectively the same deal for 8 weeks straight. The 2000 points mean that 4 weeks after the coupon I should be able to redeem $10 in flybuys dollars. The other collection of coupons included bonus points for bakery, meat and fresh fruit and vegetables and these had long expiry dates. I should be able to use them.

The christmas and new year coupons offer a saving of $15 for an $80 spend on my partner's account. I'll have to see whether I am hosting any of the christmas functions and whether I want to risk having two $80 transactions on the account. I don't want future offers to be targeted to the $80 mark. I want the target to stay at $50 or $60.

wow rainbowgirl... I like your partner's ones

My best one I think was 2000 points per bottle up to three bottles of Cattier Champagne. Usual price $45
This was coupled with a special of 4 bottles of the same plonk for $126
So I got 4 bottles of champagne and 6000 points for $126.

I must admit it all rather confused the Liquorland service person and I doubt she has ever seen one of the vouchers before or had any training in how to work them. So I have kept all the evidence

Of course all this fails if we wouldn't have bought the champagne in the first place :)

My partner and I both got email triple points offers.

I used my partner's first spend $50 for $10 off coupon today. The transaction total was $54 at the start of the transaction and $24 after the $10 coupon and two Coles Gold gift cards. I didn't get very much off for the my5 promotion but I think that was because the large coupon affected how the my5 was calculated. At least I don't have to worry about the my5 promotion anymore. It will actually make the future transactions easier to calculate in the planning stages and I'll know exactly when to stop the transaction at the register.

I made a second transaction with my Flybuys card for $1, paid by eftpos and got cash out for 50 bonus points.

I got the triple point offer this weekend - pity that I need petrol not groceries right now though - might get a few things for work but that would only total $25ish for the week.

Oh well - lets see what next week brings.

My partner and I both got targeted offers from flybuys today for shopping friday to sunday.

My partner's offer was spend $60 for 500 bonus points. Using this offer together with the week 2 coupon we will get 2500 bonus points for a $60 purchase which is worth about $12.50 in discounts.

My offer was spend $80 for 500 bonus points. I think we'll take the 2500 combined bonus offers above instead. I have already used my triple points week 2 coupon for a small purchase earlier in the week. I used a docket deal as well and will end up getting 190 points combined for a $30 shopping trip. My offers are improving though. They must have realised that I'm not taking up very many offers where I have to spend more than $100 to get anything.
