Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I feel ripped off; my offer was 500 points for over $110 spend in Coles.

I might just choose to not activate the offer and see what happens next week.
probably better to activate it and not use it

Has anyone received another sheet of Flybuys coupons in the mail?

I saw some comments on the coles site regarding the high qualifying spend levels on the coupons and I wondered whether they were talking about the eight week coupons which had just ended or whether a new batch have been sent out.

nothing here.... yet

Two fuel offers today for the household.
Me, spend $100 for 14 cents per litre, $110 for 16 cents or $120 for 18 cents.
Partner spend $60 for 12 cents per litre, $70 for 14 cents or $80 for 16 cents.

I haven't decided which one we'll take up yet. After doing a bulk shop last weekend the $60 offer sounds like the best deal. I've spent $120 for a fuel voucher before but I stocked up the freezer last weekend so I don't want to do another bulk shop.

My partner received a triple points offer on Sunday 30 Sept for triple points on every shopping trip from October 1 to October 7. This is the first triple points email offer which I have seen that lasts for a whole week. I got a triple points email offer but mine only came on Thursday and lasts until Sunday October 7. Both offers were for Coles only.

I received a bonus offer from Flybuys which lasts one week and can be used multiple times during the week. This is the same style of offer I usually get on Thursdays for the fri, sat, sun but this time I have from Monday to Sunday to use the offer. The offer is for 500 bonus points if I spend $100. I should probably be able to do this next Saturday as I haven't done a big purchase at Coles for a couple of weeks. I'll see what my partner gets on Thursday (if anything) and then decide which offer to use.

I think Flybuys is starting to change to offers which last one week instead of forcing people to spend on the weekend. I know some people will be happy with this as I have seen complaints from people who come home from a big shop on Thursday, to find a bonus offer from Flybuys which starts the next day and only lasts for a few days. At least now I can compare the EDR offers with the Flybuys offers earlier in the week to figure out the best way to use all or some of them.

I have a targeted offer of 250 FB points for every "Coles Bakery" croissant or danish I purchase until 19th.

... *250 BONUS POINTS will be earned on every purchase of any of the Coles Croissants & Danishes range between 05/10/2012 – 19/10/2012. New Range consists of All Butter Croissant, Almond Croissant, Escargot, Pain Au Chocolate, Cherry & Almond Danish, Mini Danish Selection, Cheese Twist, Spinach & Ricotta Plait, and Chocolate & Hazelnut Croquante. BONUS POINTS will be collected at time of purchase and points will be credited 28 days after expiry of offer. You have been specifically selected for this offer and it is not transferable. ...

My partner got an offer for fri,sat and sun at coles. They are offering 500 bonus points for a $60 spend. I think we'll take up my partner's offer rather than the offer I got where I had to spend $100 for a 500 bonus.

I've had two this week. 500 points for $50 spend. And 5000 points for getting my car serviced at Kmart.

My partner also got the 5000 points for a car service.

There was also an offer for bonus points at first choice liquor but we don't buy liquor so won't use it.

500 points for $80 spend at Coles and 1000 points for $50 spend at Liquorland. I also got the 5000 points for car service this week but I take my car to an independent I've used for 15 years and don't want to go elsewhere!

Hello Coles, goodbye WW!

My targeted promotion this week is spend $50 or more for 2 bonus points per dollar spent - pity that I am off to Costco this weekend !

Managed to get my coles spending to $60.52 on my partners card this weekend so we should get the 500 point bonus from that. It's hard to get the exact amount, especially when I have to calculate in the my5 discount on some of my fresh food. I was buying items that I haven't bought for a while so I didn't know my exact prices. I picked up a few extra items just in case my total went under the $60 mark but I ended up getting the checkout operator to return these. Some of the staff get confused when I do this but one of them is really good about it and understands that I am being careful to spend just the right amount to get my bonus.

Hello Coles, goodbye WW!

Plenty of points today!
$85 transaction at Coles ... 585 points
$130 transaction at Coles imediately afterwards (the checkout operator knew what I was up as he said "would you like me to stop at $80 again if you get there?") 630 points
$60 at Liquorland ... 1060 points
Total of 2275 points (worth $10 if I redeem straight away) for no effort.

WW .. bring back the points, and I will return, otherwise Coles is on a winner.

Have lost track of the targeted promos I get these days.

Get an average of 2x bonus point offers per transaction receipt, generally for the items I'm most likely to buy in the coming weeks. Have walked away with something in the order of 1,900 bonus pts in the last 7d.

The only downside with the bonus dockets is you have to religiously keep them, and remember to take ones relevant to your intended shopping. Have had a few good ones lapse because I failed to pay attention.

Three card holders in our house got a very large pile of bonus offers and advertising. They are all different. For example next week there are 500 bonus points for $50, $120 and $170 spend. One use only as the little tear off card has to be handed in at purchase. Pretty easy to guess which card we will be using.
Maybe I can get used to fly buys points if I accept that it will be hard to get more than 0.5 cents per point value
