Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Just checked my FB account and noticed my points haven't posted from Thursday's week 4/get $50 off your next shop. Checked my receipt and can see that my FlyBuys card wasn't scanned! Doh! I paid with FB dollars so I gave the card to the cashier and didn't give it a second thought.

I see I can return to the store within 7 days to get the points credited but does anyone know if I'll have to chase up the "$50 off your next shop" for completing the 4 week offer?

if you’ve shopped at Coles, you can return to the same store within seven days of making a purchase, provide your receipt and flybuys card and a customer service representative will add the points to your account. For other partners, call the flybuys service centre on 13 1116 Monday to Friday 9am-7pm AEST. Please note limitations apply.

Get the Coles staff to enter the flybuys details and then watch the account carefully. Keep the receipt as flybuys may want a copy of it in order to manually credit the 10,000 points.

The fact that you paid with flybuys dollars might make it easier for flybuys to trace the transaction. Good luck.

2,000 Flybuys points for $40 spend until tomorrow.

I'd have difficulty reaching that target but today bought baby formula and lamb off-cuts for soup this week and target achieved.

Now to try and workout what I'd do with the Flybuys points. Velocity SCs?

Perhaps I shouldn't mention this offer that just landed in my Flybuys today...

The SCs come automatically (over and above the points) each month
The best 'value' is to transfer to Etihad for redemptions on VA flights on the cusp of the EY bands (eg SYD-CNS SYD-ZQN MEL-HTI) but this is only useful if you want to travel those routes
Otherwise you will uaually get more than the 0.5c cash value by transferring to VA when they have a transfer bonus on
Ive occasionally used FBs for theme park tickets when they have a particular offer on

It is great having SC (or Tier Miles for EY) accrue without much effort!

LOL. We strictly use Aptamil only. Tried S-26 in the first month and was not suitable for daughter.

It can be a testing time finding the right formula (and it can change from child to child).

Luckily, or unluckily, Aptamil has been quite good for daughter.

Although supply issues have driven me nuts. Struggled to find Stage 1 the first 6 months then when we needed Stage 2 struggled to get Stage 2 but heaps of Stage 1.

Now need Stage 3 and yes you've guessed it, there are plenty of Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the shelves.

I'm surprised flybuys are running promotions on Baby Formula due to the supply issue. I'm also surprised they are running it on S26 given that's one of the main brands and I thought it was already one of the biggest sellers.

Sorry to be off topic on this one, but is Stage 3 needed when you can just go onto regular milk or one of the milk variations?

Stage 3 is 12 months to 24 months.

There are baby formula supply issues but Aptamil is the only one I have seen with the supply issues. S-26 is slways available and a lot of times on sale.

Unless you need Comfort. That type of S-26 is rarely on sale, and never part of the bonus points offers.

Another offer of earn 2,000 bonus points for $40 spend this weekend.

The 25% discount is good while it lasts. What to buy though?

Asparagus were $1 a bunch, at that price I could eat $40 worth easily!!

Happy to report that the base points were posted yesterday after returning to the store Monday. Did our shop today and $50 came off the shop as expected.

We found sending through to VFF then to SIA proved very Suite! (and worth over 6 cents/VFF point).

One C MC offer maxed out two accounts instantly for us - toss in those Amex points on top....

LOL.

The $40 target is relatively easy. 2 x 24 Pepsi Max cans @ $10.50 each + some generic nappies for daughter and Vanish and some lollies and that's an easy $10 discount.

If they become greedy like Woolworths and increase targets the offers will be ignored.
