Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Mine was 300 for $10 of Easter chocolate. Such a sacrifice. Qualified for my 10,000 bonus points as well. Cha-ching.

That's a good offer. Until Tuesday, Coles have an offer on small bags of Cadbury eggs. You can get 2 bags for $5. Usually the bags sell for $4.50 each. The points reduce the total price down to $3.75, less than the price for one of the bags.

I didn't get an email either for the Easter Egg offer, it also just appeared in my account.

Yep, that's what I grabbed. Was a good deal I thought!

Mine is spend $7.50 and get 100 points on Easter Eggs.

I was also notified about this offer via email "Your 10,000 BONUS POINTS has been activated. Don't forget to shop!" it's at the bottom of my email with an "Activate Now" link too.

No Easter egg offer for me. I guess they know I was going to buy chocolate anyway.

Finished my 4x$80 offer this arvo. I expect I will skip the next 4x offer as no doubt the target $ will go up.

I was doing my top up shopping today but didn't get a docket deal at the end of my receipt. I was hoping for a 1000 point docket deal to use in conjunction with my Week 4 of 4 spending on Friday.

Has anyone received their points from the travel survey that was sent out just over a month ago? It was supposed to be for 50 points.

I got a Spend $160 and get 1000 points, it's gone up since I completed the 10,000 Easter points Offer (4 x $130 p/w)... Docket deals used to vary around Spend $80 for 1000 but it's a huge increase for $5 worth of points.

I just got my first lot of 10,000 bonus flybuys points. The offer was "spend $50 each week for 4 weeks".

I'm pretty happy so far with my decision to switch to Coles as my main supermarket. Woolies' new rewards scheme just lacks any sort of, well, rewards.

Enjoy!

These types of bonus point promos I rarely get anymore, as I reckon the Coles loyality data analytics have picked up that I'm a pretty regular Coles shopper nowadays.

Still get the 1000 bonus point offers on the end of dockets regularly though.

Yep, got one of those 1000 point offers today. Would have to spend $90 though.

I think I'll shop at Aldi for the next few weeks. And if I do visit Coles in the near future, I won't scan my flybuys card. I have to try to make them think I'm not a loyal shopper so they'll send more great bonus point offers. ;)

I completed my week 4 of 4 shopping transaction and got a note at the end of the receipt to say that 10,000 points would be credited within 48 hours.

I also got a docket deal for 1000 points for spending $50. Usually the docket deals print from Wednesday morning which is why I time my top up shopping to match the start date of the offers.

I know there was a glitch with some of the email offers this week which resulted in them coming out on Thursday afternoon instead of Wednesday. I am wondering if the same glitch affected the docket deals. As a result of this issue I'll probably miss out on $5 worth of points. I'd been intending to use that 1000 point docket deal with today's transaction.

After the 4 week promotions, the offers in the following weeks are fairly ordinary so I don't always make $50 purchases in those weeks.

The fact that next week is Easter might mean I've got $50 worth of shopping for Coles but I'm not sure. I've done most of my Easter egg shopping and bought al the non perishable food early during the 4 week promotion. I've also got a good Woolworths Rewards offer next week so the Chickens and a little bit of fresh fruit and veg purchases will go to Woolworths. Some of the other meat I want will be coming from the local butcher. I got my Roast Lamb at Coles this week which will go in the freezer until Easter.

Sorry, a further update on this. We've now been informed that these points will be allocated by Wednesday. We're sorry for this further hold up and appreciate your patience.

The 50 points for my travel survey have appeared in my account. Thanks for keeping track of things for us.

I also got my 10,000 points for the 4 week promotion and have already converted them to flybuys dollars.

Taking up a $10 off gc offer at Coles really wrecks your offer profile for a while even if they were only $100 gcs.

Offers have all become spend $165 or more to...

Interesting as was only spending the $104.95 with free $10 CMgrp gc.

Even so, it looks as if the algorithm has lumped all sales within a certain timeframe into one purchase.

More and more revealed about the algorithm...

Successfully got the 10000 points last week - will now just do normal shops and use vouchers until able to get $80 value. Mrs Bodie got some wooloworths offers, so will split the shops between the two over next couple of weeks.

Docket deals seem to be absent this week but luckily a basic triple points email came in.

I did my bulk shopping today. Given I had plenty of grocery needs for Easter it was worth doing some bulk shopping at Coles. I got to use my 1000 point docket deal plus the Weekly Coupon.

Docket deals appear to be back this week but they aren't consistent between members. Usually they are either all double points or all 1000 points for a specific spend. I went shopping with a friend of mine today to do my top up shopping and checed out what Easter Eggs were left at Coles. I got a docket deal for 1000 points for a $60 spend expiring on 12 April and my friend got a double points docket deal expiring on 19 April. The expiry dates are a bit unusual as well.

I also got a triple points email offer running from Thursday to Sunday. I'll probably only do a small shop this week and use my 1000 point coupon next week when I use the Week 11 coupon which is the last high value coupon of the current set. I've got a triple points coupon this week plus the email triple points so I'll only spend around $20.
