Amazing how good the customer service is in fixing mistakes (lack of 5,000 rewards points coming up).

Shame it is only this good in a predatory industry!

They dont all win. That's why it's gambling. Commenting on one result is not exactly significant. Long term this will be a winner. Will be more than happy to back up again next round.

This has been going perfectly since the initial 1pt loss in the first game. They had another 2 eligible games the following round (both won) before stopping the promo. It returned the last two weekends with 3 games which all won as well. Currently well above $$ expectation but yet to get a blowout so am below points expectation.

Currently $37 ahead and have earned 6,900 CrownBet points. All have been transferred to Velocity for a total of 3,450pts + the current 15% bonus (517pts).

Just received this email from CrownBet...

Truly bizarre IMHO. I've not used CrownBet other than signing up and moving the points to Velocity.

Anyone else get this?

not really bizarre, standard fare for online gambling. At least in australia they are regulated, but the unregulated ones are the real crooks, they can close your account, keep your money and you have no way to get it back. As soon as they see someone is gaming the system, then the account will be frozen. Thats not so far removed from taking suspected card counters out the back alleyway.

I still don't see the logic. They've incurred a small cost to get me to sign-up. I've not "gamed" the system any further, hence not costing them anything. Any goodwill created, should I decide I need to be, is now gone. If I'm to be in future it will be with anyone but CrownBet. I don't see what they have gained/saved by this?

Just received the same email. Have not had any activity on the account since the velocity bonus.

Petty IMO

Yes, also received the same email a few minutes ago.

Identically to the rest of the above AFF members, I have not had any activity other than the Velocity Rewards transaction.

Seems petty and vindictive for a big business but like many others here I had no intention of using that account again so nothing really lost here

Got email as well + several family members. Throwing all CrownBet cards into bin as we speak! My desk is bit tidier now...Thanks CrownBet and for the 2500 Velocity pts for each of us ;)

You could always ask them nicely to let you back in.

No doubt I will get the same letter, I signed up my wife and I, and transferred the points immedaitely. Its fairly obvious my intention for signing up was solely to get the points, and therefore I did abuse their generosity, and I have no problem with their actions. I threw my cards in the bin the day they arrived. No doubt someone in their marketing came across the internet talking about how to make a quick 2500 points for free, and they will turn that tap off for sure.

My husband and I got kicked out too, no great loss as I only wanted the 2500 x 2 Velocity points!

Yup....got my "you've been a badboy" email this arvo, bout the same time as others...345pm ish...

Just checked account, still have the original 2500 points posted to the account.

Now just have to wait and see if the Points are removed in foreseeable future due to " Breachof Ts n Cs" or some other condition.

Not too bothered, fair is fair as I never read the T n Cs

But either way, like most others, this was a cow to be Milked, and if the milk is sour, then so Be it.

I did. They said no. Pretty shocking, I don't see why they benefit from acting like this. I won't lose any sleep over it, but I did intend to use the account at some point and try to earn more Velocity points, just hadn't gotten around to it.

I used the online chat to close my account. They asked why. Didn't seem at all fussed when I told them why (being that I didn't appreciate the tone of the email).

Received the email this evening to great amusement.

Many thanks for the several thousand velocity points :-)
