The Lancet

Here is a recent article which explores the relationship between falling numbers of deaths and cases of Covid-19 in Europe and whether or not that is due to lockdowns or some sort of herd immunity developing in a country.

Spoiler Alert : The swifter the lockdown the better the outcome.

Though in that Lancet summary they did compare denmark to Spain saying the epidemic hadn't spread as much when lockdown was started. But there is another major difference.denmark closed it's border to all non citizens whereas Spain still allowed travellers from other EU countries and the UK for quite some time after lockdown was instituted.

And what may be good news for those of us with haemochromatosis.Low serum irons predict more severe cases of Covid 19.

I'm so glad I didn't major in Social Psychology then or I would be experiencing significant cognitive dissonance right now 😉

And New Zealand reports 2 people who have tested for COVID19 and were let out of 14 day isolation to see a dying relative.

Thanks on the good news from DrRon my iron level is high Ferritin was just tested at 535, maybe I shouldn’t be in a rush to blood bank.

Well BB if you are also blood group O you are on a winner.

But Convalescent plasma therapy appears safe and effective.

As well another old drug being trialled for Covid.
