OMG, all this state of origin heart break in Sydney today. Apparently, now NSW leaked their super secret game plan of

getting in the faces of gun halves Cooper Cronk and Johnathan Thurston, while simultaneously unsettling debutants Justin O'Neill and Corey Oates.

Wow! who'd have thought getting in the faces of the key players was a good idea. If the coughroaches think that is a secret plan no wonder they go so bad.

I know a win is a win and all, but geez that isn't much of a win.

Ok, the origin. The non-try for NSW, I've watched the video a few times and at no time does the ball touch the line. At no time does there even appear to be an obscured possibility that the ball/arm carrying the ball touched the line. It pretty conclusively did not touch the line. Yet all these coughroaches are cry foul about the disallowed try. They might have a point if the ball was anywhere near the line.

Also gotta say the Rugby league has a much better set of camera views available to the video referee than super rugby seem to have.

One radio commentator this morning said that one person who is having a worse time than the Blues fans this morning might be the referee if he stayed at the same hotel as the NSW team.

If I recall correctly, one of the Blues officials (possibly the coach) has called for the referee to be given the sack. In another instance, I think one of the Maroons players commented that at that level of competition (seems to be a hackneyed cliche these days), sometimes you need a bit of the referee's help to win the game, which I think is a bit of a stupid thing to say, seriously let alone in jest.

Like I said all the blues that are crying with no reasonable basis for their claim. It was the NSW coach who doesn't want the same referees for game 2. And it was the Queensland coach who said that winning depends on luck with the calls. That's not a stupid thing to say, it's just the truth. But I reject the idea that the disallowed try was luck, the ball was nowhere near the line. Some of the knock on calls on the other hand..., but a good team can overcome bad luck.

As a neutral observer, I only saw a couple minutes of the game, but I did see the no try call. With the video available, there's no way that could have or should have been given. The bunker was 100% correct to overturn the on-field call.

I'm not neutral, but I also wouldn't say anything about this if there was any way that the try could've been possible. If there was doubt either way.

Ball was clearly short. The broadcast angle live made it look like he made the line, but the replays were conclusive that it didn't.

Can the Fremantle Dockers win to beat Collingwood and make it four wins in a row? On the strength of that chance we have an observer from our Perth office heading to Melbourne for the game at the MCG.
I think Collingwood must believe the MCG is their home ground based on how many games they play there this season.

Let's hope so Cove, a few players are back from injury but I think others are now injured, at least Fremantle think they can win matches now.
