So happy looking at current flybuys point 482,964 :D ( this is after twice maximum transfer to velocity ). Need another 4-5 years to clear it out.

Just checked my local Coles Wynyard Sydney CBD. Lots of $50 cards. No $100 :(
Ah well back to work now.

Hi All...new to this but noticed that the offer is in my FB account - says there is a $5.00 charge for each card.....can someone give me a quick run down.

Please read the small fine print and find out what you will get. These thing shouldnt need to be spoon fed. Esp when barganis are to be had.

The 1000 flybuys points offsets the $5 fee. Where you benefit is if you have a Platinum Edge card and earn 3pts per $1 spend. That is what's valuable.

I'm going to do my best to summaries

100 gift card costs 105
Howwver you get 1000fb points which is worth 5

But if you have a Plat edge you get 315 Mr points

Ie spend 100 get 100 Coles credit. Get 315 Mr points

Ie you get 315 pls for free
You could use the interest free period and earn 3%pa interrest/30-55 days interest free which i can't be bothered calculating and get it for free

Irritatingly no $100 cards at my Local Champ Coles. Fortunately plenty of other stores

Tried one, zero, whole lot of $50s, $100 gone I can see a hole for em.

Tried another had 15, Tried to buy them all, over jealous worker goes stop, you can not buy more than what you have scanned. (I scanned 3). STOP Call manager.... Manager came and said you can only buy 5. I said " Can I come back tomrow?" - "You can only buy 5 per transaction" - "Can I come back tomrow?" - "You can only buy 5" - "Can I come back tomrow". - "Yes, but only 5".

What a dumbarse. Seriously Australians are so over geared and over leveraged with many investmant homes, Stuff these baby boomers..

i'll take that as an apology...... buddy.
Is that a south park reference? "I'm not your buddy, guy"

Edit: sorry to be OT. I didn't get the targeted offer. Again. What do I have to do to get these darn things?!! (rhetorical)

For paying tax: My working out with Platinum edge each $100 gives gives 435 velocity from flybuys plus 300 from Amex at a combined cost of $0.0075 per point. worth paying as much as I can.
