Still a tad more than 0.3c/pt for those that can get V1 $100 at 5% discount at woolies. In that case a $200 V1 is worth $7.95 as it nets ~621 points. 1.28c/point

well, used my PE at an officeworks store recently and just realised the points come in at 3:1. Online order at officeworks only seems to be 2:1. It's quite confusing.
But still, second best option compared to woolworths 5% discount
Thanks for sharing your experience with OW. Hadn’t considered them before. Agree, more expensive than WOW method but that’s now gone for our favourite merchant so one to crunch the numbers on.
What’s the availability like in store. Assuming there might be a run on OW stores now
Actually, went through my point statements and there are quite a few places that are not major supermarkets but still come through with 3:1: Kmart, Target, Dan's Murphy Online. It seem to be the stores that belong to major super market chains.
Last year I paid Medibank directly with Visa One cards. Only issue was I paid end of March but the payments were not applied using the old premium.I'm thinking of paying Medibank premiums using Amex>V1 cards (using the postbillpay option to break it into lots of $100). Has anyone done this? (Just worried that either postbillpay might get coughty about multiple payments to the same biller, or that Medibank might not like it.)
I knew about DM online but KMart and Target are new ones to me. I default to my Charge in these stores so it is worth the experiment since I will still get 1ppd either way and possibly 3.
Should be buying you 5% discount wish egift cards at cashrewards. Still get 3 points per $. Buy through cashrewards for a few extra % cashback too.

You are now and I can guarantee it is true.Cash back as well as the 5% discount? Not aware of this being the case through CR
Excuse my ignorance, but how? Or is this a secret? All my past transactions purchasing woolies egc through CR show the saving (ie $5, $10) but not any actual cash back in my CR account. You are now and I can guarantee it is true.

That's the one. 5% off and 3ppd on buying the egc then whatever CR offers when you actually use the egc on buying something.I think burmans meant you get 5% discount with the egc then order with DM using the egc via CR for cash back. But DM is currently not accepting online egc processing atm.
It is news to me that WISH cards are accepted in KMart and Target!!!
You can get 3 pts with PE but you can’t use Wish cars at Kmart and Target
Depending on how you did the first transaction, that might be the wrong conclusion. AFAIK, there's a limit of $500 in gift cards per transaction, certainly, unrelated to your Rewards card. Did you actually try scanning the Rewards card for the further purchases? (And just by the by, there's no value in scanning your card if you're only buying giftcards, as you can't earn points on giftcards.)it seems there is a 5 vs1 limit on every rewards card.
