just went to the postoffice and pay my 'future' utility bills via selfserve and no issue at all.. also did pay one of my credit card bill as well :-)
too bad my local woolies ran out of the $88 eftpos card today, will go and check again later tonight..

that technically means you paid your credit card bill (credit) with another card essentially, at 5% discount

WOW!! there must be a way to merge the $88 cards together into one so thta you dont have to do 20x transactions!

well, to get 5% i dont mind doing that..just go during off peak hours..or move when you noticed long q behind u...but not all credit card accept 'Postpay' option :-( only managed to find one .. better than nothing i guess..

great suggestion

paying credit off with credit is not allowed but if this is a loophole its amazing, its a pitywe cant do it on a large or long term scale

Yep I've run out of e-wish cards so have this morning loaded up another cpl thousand $ worth, just waiting for the email to come through then back up to WW I go.

just check your credit card bill, if there is an option as below, then you can use the eftpos card :-) and as you can see, only managed to find Macquarie CC got that option..

Don't buy from a Coles supermarket, you only get $100 max per card. Buy from Coles Financial Services Pty Ltd web site, so you can order a $1000 card. $5 per card, free post.

Pardon my ignorance here but I looked into the $1000 card from Coles but I don't really see a benefit (esp given you can't use AMEX to get 3 pts)?

Edit: Ok someone explained it a few screens up (i.e. to prevent perhaps a premium card charge)...

I agree it's not worth the "shoe-leather" to do multiple $88 cards...
Back in the day, was churning $1,000 XS Eftpos cards at the PO lol... those were the good old days :)

If you were to buy the eftpos cards via the wish cards with your cc and then pay for your cc with the eftpos cards creating an endless loop you would earn $4.40 per card plus points, a bit of work though and your limited to the cards available.

yeah exactly in theory, if you had a lot of time and patience and patient post office staff, you could do this

for ever, however the se cards are a special promo unfortuantely

I think the risk with this strategy especially if doing circular payments way in excess of the amount you owe on your statement is the bank's fraud people might suspend your account to 'investigate' even though technically you're not doing anything illegal.
How much do banks charge for PO payments? Might not make it worthwhile at self checkout unless you find a compliant CSO at the counter during a quieter time that will let you aggregate payments.

AMEX bill do take payment, but $3 surcharge. I think it is worth it , if you bought those cards with 5% wish card.

But question is: Those $3 surcharge for single payment at auspost ? what happen if we split payment 10 times ? $30 surcharge ??

to be honest I wasnt even thinking about putting my card into creidt but I gues if it is possible its another win.

I have never put my card into credit so wouldnt have a clue,

I mean they might investigate, but to suspend seems a bit odd to me

is there any benefit in showing your woolworths card when buying these $88 cards?

you get the petrol discount, anything else?

I havent done as I've found WW systems good at excluding GC purchases (as are BP). Will kick myself if wrong though

There's no points on your EDR card for these $88 perfect gift cards. So don't use it.

Even worse if you do use it your minimum spend for bonus point offers is likely to go up considerably.

You will still get the petrol voucher. It will be printed at the bottom of the receipt.
