Alas, whilst Wednesday was a new PB, I was time challenged today and instead of walking from 525 Collins up to 101 Collins and then back to Southern Cross Station, I had to take the tram both ways.

Now at MEL airport but no desire to walk the Terminals again  (too busy anyway ).

Can't complain, got to bring forward my flight from 7.05pm to 5.05pm, snagged an ODU and now sitting in the Business Lounge sipping a Blue Tongue. Rung Mrs LW and gained brownie points for getting home early. Things are looking up

When a day is filled with lots of activity (i.e. meetings etc.) it does make it hard to hit targets without making decent changes to your routine (e.g. getting up earlier to make up lost spare time).

Such it was for me yesterday. Even with my earnest efforts as I was heading home, I fell 200 steps short of my daily average.

Can't see that you were in the bad books anyway, but good score on the flight change.

Team One Alliance is now up to date with entries except for one person that has two days to enter.

Well done team. :D

having just read the meet ups thread elsewhere are we all having a beer somewhere at the end of this?
We can all walk to a bar somewhere!

So long as we don't all have to walk to the same bar as it could be a long walk for a few people :!:

Walked over 18,000 steps today, Looking forward to the Brisbane Bridge to Brisbane 10km run on the 29 August.

Is anyone running the Sydney City to Surf today with their pedo. That would give most people a PB.

I believe Leumas is in it, at least his Twitter says "he's going" and "it's going to hurt".

He's a Team One Alliance member, however.

Team starworld is finally up to date, with our last member catching up on all entries. We're getting closer to 7 million steps as a team, too, with only about 300k steps to go.

I'm glad Leumas and others are doing well this week as I have been struggling the last few days.

Well done 'B' team. You'll get there yet.

I had a look through the averages and Team Starworld has never got more than 100,000 in one day, I would like to crack 100,000 at least once in this competition.
Bundy Bear, I believe after checking this morning, we now show 8 days in excess of 100K (now we have all members with less than 2 days outstanding). IIRC, our best is 123K.

You wish is fulfilled .

Team Starworld on 6,830,510 steps and Team One Alliance on 7,422,510 - now that makes it a lot closer (now it appears we are relatively up-to-date with step entering).

My total steps are up to 969,474 - so I should hit the magic 1M tomorrow (my goal for the week).

My daily average is up to 11,968 - tantillisingly close to my goal of 12K.

Go everybody ;).

By my report tables that I can see as Team Manager, in order to beat the other team, we might need to break the legs of either jdevereux3, straitman or serfty.

I vote jdevereux3 for this. He's young - his legs can grow back :p

Just kidding, everyone.

Of course, we'll all just have to do it the honest way.

On the other hand, this race has taken us through some interesting treks. Some through Central Asia, others through the Balkans, up through Fjordlands (and associated No Man's Lands up there)....
