By my report tables that I can see as Team Manager, in order to beat the other team, we might need to break the legs of either jdevereux3, straitman or serfty.

I vote jdevereux3 for this. He's young - his legs can grow back :p

Just kidding, everyone.

Of course, we'll all just have to do it the honest way.

On the other hand, this race has taken us through some interesting treks. Some through Central Asia, others through the Balkans, up through Fjordlands (and associated No Man's Lands up there)....

I believe yourself, Bundy Bear and myself have a chance at this on Saturday night :p

Make sure you get a good video for the rest of us to watch :!:

More seriously though, If you hurt one of our team members the rest of our team will walk all over you.

Is that a Melbourne AFF Challenge I can smell? :p:p

No golf shoes, please. ;) :p
Mine don't have spikes any more ... just softish cleats. I lost one yesterday & had to replace it.

No need to break legs - I'm just about worn out ... after golf yesterday, I blew off walking the 3500 odd steps to the station this morning and may do so this evening as well ... how long to go with this thing?

Competition ends 7 September, so just under a month remaining now.

Awww Bugger. Thats a day before I go to MEL, could have got a serious last minute boost to our step count.

Oh Well:mrgreen:

Josh:p

Well I'll beat my average again tonight and help my team catch that One Allliance crowd.

Got a game of golf on Thursday morning and a Conference to attend Thursday/Friday, so walking around the resort. Instead of going to expensive dinner on Thursday night and hear the same old stuff from the same people, might walk around Carrara and see if I can beat 30K (and thrash my 21K PB and my legs).

I took the long way home tonight to beat my daily average.

The flip side is that I got completely soaked by the rain.

seems like i am going to need to go and get on teh treadmill
50mmm of rain here in 24 hours

Indeed there was a lot of rain in Brisbane last night and this morning it stopped me for the first time since commencing the GCC, taking the dog for a walk.

Made up for it with 3 complete circuits of the DFO BNE Airport whilst shopping today with Mrs LW. I left her in the female shops and kept walking to my shops.

Have hit 15K today, so it will finally push my daily average above 12K (was sitting at an unbelievable 11,999 this morning after adding yesterday's steps!).

Playing golf tomorrow morning (Royal Pines) and then sitting through a Conference in the afternoon. Taking my walking shoes for my daily walk (sans dog) around the Resort & Golf Course tomorrow morning, so will keep the steps numbers up.

Can I crack a new PB tomorrow?

If you’d like to catch-up at any point, if you have time, just send me a PM. The course looks a bit muddy from the kitchen, so I hazard it might be a carts on path day!

Happy to meet for a drink, or show off my dog who would absolutely love a walk ;)

Apologies to Mrs LW, but I had to laugh at that.

Did you take any of the minis with you walking? They might be a bit tired and bored walking around and around and around and .... (10k steps later) .....
