No you can book now and pay later.

You have three years to use the GV, and you don't pay extra fees when you book on QF website using the GV... the only downside is if you choose 1 adult and say you want to travel with someone else, the redemption can only be used for 1 adult.

Assuming the Points + Pay booking is eligible to earn SC and you have registered for the promotion and the booking is made before midnight tonight and travel on QF*QF is in the applicable period then double SC should apply.

Getting nothing but errors on the QF site currently trying to finalise the last few bookings. Tried different internet connections as well but it's pretty flaky.

The computers run off GMT so probably so long as the PNR is generated before midnight GMT you probably will be fine.

That's why the promos should all open around midday on the first day of the promo. If they don't it can cause issues for those who book early needing to call up every time the DSC don't come through.

Its not that the website is 'down', it's just that it keeps crashing every time you search for a flight, or select a flight, or proceed to actually pay/process your booking

Other than that, sure it's back up.

Not nonsense - they say it finishes tonight, but because it's actually based on the booking date and not time, all bookings are in GMT.

Well I at least have a PNR for the business flight that should get me back to platinum.
The bigger risk is that it's part of travel to Korea... Corona virus land...might have to cancel
