Not nonsense - they say it finishes tonight, but because it's actually based on the booking date and not time, all bookings are in GMT.
Yep and GMT for midnight tonight in Sydney is the same time. IF they actually load the time properly there is NO extra 10/11 hours.

It really shouldn't be this hard to understand such a simple concept. midnight Sydney AEDT is 1300 GMT
The promo should end at 1300 GMT - Assuming Qantas know how to program it. There is no extra time because of GMT

Having dramas here as well...luckily got my overseas long flights done this morning, just trying to do a few domestic ones now but website wont work...we have a big thunderstorm here right now but it obviously isnt that.

Well I at least have a PNR for the business flight that should get me back to platinum.
The bigger risk is that it's part of travel to Korea... Corona virus land...might have to cancel
Awesomely I have the email offer of hotels deals on this booking, but not the actual invoice/itinerary.

How F'ed is Qantas IT?

Was just in bed and remembered I was intending to purchase a couple of vouchers.

Same issues as mentioned above . After about four attempts with errors one finally stuck. Using the iPad on safari

Unable to search for flights. Has the website had a meltdown?
Qantas site has cough itself here in Perth.

cannot book any flights at all.

have taken time/date stamped photos of the screen but I doubt that will help. Trying to book 4 flights.

Managed to get PNR generated by payment failed... anyone with an experience if payment completing after the promo end but still getting the DSC's as the PNR was generated beforehand?

This is rather unbelievable. Qantas was struggling with weak demand and slow bookings, so decided to run a Double Status Credits offer.

And now that people are actually trying to book flights, the website is down and nobody can get through to the call centre.

Try SMS chat or call the call centre to complete payment.
Otherwise just rebook maybe.

I posted a work-around for these webite issues in another thread. Here it is again:

First you must log out of qantas.com, and clear the browser cache. Your computer must have no knowledge of you or your QFF number.
Go to qantas.com. Do NOT log in.
Make a booking. Do NOT give your QFF details at all, anywhere. You will have to give your name, phone and email. Use a different email to one that is normally in your QFF profile.
Don't select seats.
You should now get the payment page rather than the error page. Pay for the flight. Make a note of the PNR just in case.
The payment will process, and you will get the "Thank You" page. At the bottom click on "Manage Booking".
Click on "Add frequent flyer number". Add you QFF number. Click on update details. Click on Qantas Home.
Now, and only now, log in to qantas.com. You will see your newly made and paid booking under "My Bookings". Now you can select your seats.
After all the trial and error I have a list of 30 PNRs that I have created. I wanted to create 4 bookings, and with this method I have done that, and I haven't been able to pay for 26 PNRs due to the errors. The PNRs that haven't been paid get automatically cancelled after an hour or so.
Note that these were all simple return tickets, not the multi-stop I really wanted to book. As these were all H class fully flex I can call back later and change these to the flights I really want.
Hope this helps someone with the same issues - you have about 4 hours left to get the double status credits.

I've logged these issues with website support. I encourage others with issues to do the same - only with our feedback can these issues be fixed.

Website has ground to a halt for me here. unable to search flights on the main site or the mobile site.
"Sorry an error seems to have occurred, and this page cannot be displayed"

I am able to replicate the problem on multiple browsers different internet connections different computers etc.

Frustrated and annoyed I've decided to give up for the night.

Poor form Qantas.

Unfortunately to get the qantas business rewards discount i need to log in first...
Great that someone with no apparent QFF profile can book flights, however.
